HOLY CROSS, Sat., Nov. 25, 7p, FS-2

Was at the game last night. Had a really fun time! Much needed after being at the Jets game friday. Team seems to be better understanding their roles and playing better together. Good signs!!

I’m also just not sure what discussion we would have for 40+ pages. Holy Cross is a terrible team, we played well. There isn’t that much to really learn from it

Well said. It was fun being at the game last night

It was great seeing RJ finally play so talented

Go Johnnies!

There used to be an in game thread and postgame thread. The mods have enough to do and I’m not suggesting they reinstall. It’s easy enough to skip forward. But I suspect the higher volume of posts in losses, which is not new to 2023 here, is in large part in game commentary. Those posts, coming rapid fire as a game takes place, are the least cerebral and most reactionary.

As I’ve said before it’s just people blowing off steam, and there isn’t a lot to vent about in 40 point wins.

Agree completely idraft. A lot is the in game Jekyll and Hyde posts about the team. But that Michigan thread continued on for a week or so.

That Utah win deserved to be a lot longer.

Michigan thread 53 pages. Dayton thread 35 pages.

Utah thread 24. Holy cross 14.

Guess it’s more fun to trash us than enjoy us. 🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️
I guess the point I’m trying to make is this. And I will use a gambling phrase I say very often. The thrill of victory is no way near the feeling of the agony of defeat and I guess it can be applied here as well.

I’m also trying to build this thread up!! Great game guys. Was really looking forward to seeing Luis play and was hoping Dunlap would play enough minutes and contribute and get his confidence going. That happened along with a bunch of other good things. No let up when up big to make it bigger!!

Like most, I was very impressed by RJ. Especially given the fact that this was his first game back (even though it was against Holy Cross). Even better, RJ will continue to get better with more PT/practice. I believe RJ said he felt he was at 40%, even so, watch out!!! Overall, a very solid performance (Joel, Ledlum, Dingle...) against a team they should beat by 25 and we won by 46. Chatting across the aisle with my bud, IDRAFT, the team has a very interesting look with RJ & Taylor on the floor together. Lastly, no news flash here, but Wilcher will be a stud.
