Spending is so damned subjective. A movie ticket costs almost $20 (remember the movies? Who goes anymore) i refuse to pay $25 for a restaurant appetizer and refrain from $20 mixed drinks, but my kids don't.

To me, and more correctly for me, a ticket to our games is a huge bargain. Every game has been fun, even getting stunned by Pace. Where else can I go, and literally see 100 or more people I know? Or go to the baseball HOF, tap a guy on the shoulder with an SJU cap, meet him again in Charleston, have breakfast in Florida, and is now a friend.

Even more than that, there is a reality when at games or around town, literally anywhere in the world. Find someone wesring sju gear and you will instantly be treated as a friend. That to me, is priceless.
Appetizer prices are like main course prices several years ago. But I’m a glutton for punishment :)

Essentially really enjoy going to the games.

It is so true meet anywhere in the world, quick story. August 2016 waiting in the Milan waiting area to board the plane to fly back home. a man puts his duffel bag down maybe 5 ft or so from my family. the Bag had Sju athletics inscribed and he’s wearing a Sju polo shirt. I went over to say hello. It was Luca virgilio the Sju basketball mgr

my SJU garb encounters are very different than yall.
whether its disney or danang - oh St Johns canada.
but yankee gear, its always da bronx.

From Hofstra perspective

They talk most about their three wins during the Roberts era and the win before that against our 2003-04 team. I think they only beat us one other time and we won 22.

And there's always St. John USVI, where, while I was on a snorkeling cruise, my St.John's hat blew overboard and the captain turned the boat around and fished it out of the water because he thought it was an island souvenir. 😜

Going to UBS for me is barely a step above campus.
my wife comes to all games with me. She loves MSG games because she loves NYC.
we always take LIRR, make a full NYC day of it incl out to lunch and or dinner.

Tourists! ;)

My opinion is to delete CA for any games . Just 2 venues . MSG and UBS . The difficulty of UBS might be helped by Shuttle Buses from Campus to UBS .

Like they do for most Golf Events in the Area . It works pretty well . I have no idea how expensive that would be .
I would love to see this

The line I refuse to cross is beer. I will not pay $12 or more for a beer at a game. Ever.

Dave - Listened to your latest interview with Coach Walsh. Great job! But I was surprised there wasn’t any discussion about the health and limitations of RJ. How will he be integrated going forward? Is he fully engaged in practice, etc..
Thank you so much for listening. I only have so much time with coach, I had to get to a lot of pressing issues, trust me I could talk to Coach Walsh for hours. RJ was available with the media today. According to what he said today - He was dealing with a stress reaction in left shin. That was reason for his absence. he played more than was planned against UConn and told Rick Pitino he coould go longer. Came out of the UConn game feeling good. Staff are still managing the shin. He's limited to 1.7 miles of activity per practice.

So he's still on a bit of a minutes restriction but the good news is he came out of the UConn game feeling good. He played more mins that he was "supposed" to which is good, and I'd venture to guess by the Butler game or soon there after he will be a full go barring any set backs
