Middle of BE pack for this squad would be a success. Imo, not a very good team, but potentially good enough for bubble status and eking out a bid in tough league.
Tend to agree Paultz. The only thing keeping a little more positive is that we haven’t been fully healthy all season. First Luis being out and now him still getting adjusted , now Ledlum missing some time. Before I’m finally ready to say that , I want to see this team at full strength for 5 - 6 games in a row.

Fair & we have a pretty good coach 😇

Most shocking stat from today.
Soriano 29 minutes, 0 defensive rebounds.
Everyone has bad games, so better for Joel to get it out of the way now.
That’s because Hofstra spread everything out and made him defend on the perimeter all game and he couldn’t cheat because he couldn’t leave a shooter

Got to meet up pre-game with IDAFT & his wife...and halftime got to meet up w/ mjmaher, redstormrising & Happy.

UBS is nice place, but it was dead..no energy from fans from start. Super quiet is an understatement.Barely heard one can't of Lets Go Johnnies, Defense etc.

If I had to guess attendance maybe 6-7K?

We did give up 47 in second half, unacceptable

Exactly….. so much for posters who claim the defense has improved. It may look better when we play a match up zone and the other team is shooting poorly but the same guys are getting beat by opponents going to the basket regularly.

Whoa:

Pitino: “I’ll say two things: We played well, they played great. We knew this was coming because we played them two times at Iona. Don’t take this the wrong way, we had a much better team at Iona than we do at St. John’s. Dubar killed us last year, he makes tough shots.”

Pitino says a lot of BS stuff. Like Zuby was going to start over Soriano

Ok Mr. Negativity. Show some class and admit that Jenkins played a good game. In fact, he may have, by himself, saved the team from a damaging loss.
Very true Gabelmc, and I have been a Jenkins critic myself but we don’t win today without him. Let’s hope he’s turned the corner here. It would be huge for us. Great game by him today.

Good to see Ledlum getting work in. Tells me had this been a conference game he would have played.
