Speedy outcoached Pitino IMO. Game completely changed when Speedy committed to going small and SJU couldn’t take advantage by getting the ball to Soriano more. Plus we got a pretty good whistle today. Lucky to escape with the win

Win and move on game, after 13 games I still have no idea what this team is. With Ledlum out, a bad game for Soriano to not come to play. It happens though, even to players who are normally the picture of consistency.

We had this discussion last game, but I still don't understand how CRP doesn't adjust when Soriano switches onto a guard up rop. Either it's the scheme or someone is missing an assignment, but it leads to too many easy layups

and open 3's on the penetration and dish.

One observation on Luis, I have no clue how good he is, can be, will be, could be, etc….but the first thing I look for in a player is the effort and he plays hard, there is no denying that.
