I said it before and I’ll say it again, Mustapha is a godsend. Was big time against Butler and complimented LJ very very nicely vs Nova. If not for his output last 2 games we would be sitting 5-8 in conference and on the wrong end of the bubble.

If all 5 starters could put together a good game I shudder to think how difficult we could be to play against.
This is the key stretch and it is wonderful to have MH and LF playing so well.
If we can win our remaining BE games we will receive a nice seed in the NCAA Tournament.
A big if, but it can be done. Looking forward with tempered optimism.

Need to post him up more. When guys can do so many things it’s easy forget one aspect. He’s so good on the block.

But then again he's our best 3 pt shooter.

True, but it makes us easier to defend if we don’t threaten multiple areas of the court.

Yes, RMN, I don’t want to be greedy but it’d be sweet to run-the-table these next 5 games and do well in the BET. I also think we’d get a decent seed in the Dance, if the team does that.

Can we either lock or change the name of this thread? Scares me every time I see a new post to it.

Thanks!!

Last nine games for Mustapha Heron: 17. 8 points on 48 percent shooting and 38 % shooting from deep. Performing like the impact transfer he was projected to be. #sjubb Zach B

It is huge down the stretch to have Heron trending so positively.

Solid points Paultz. This team should be a tough out as well, with Figgy solid, Simon and Clark contributing. Ponds being Ponds, and a better bench adding more depth and consistency than earlier in the season.

Heron's contract states he doesn't have to play against Providence. ;) :) We need him badly for this and all remaining games as we need all 5 starters.

He needs therapy more than he needs practices.[/quote]
