Otzelberger and his wife have strong connections with Iowa State. His performance at UNLV was mediocre, at best. UNLV reportedly will get three million buyout from Iowa State. This is the third coach Rebels have lost to the Big 12.

Unlv to me seems like an end of the road past his prime type of job. That sounds worse than how I want it to but someone who's had success but might have somewhat of a checkered past. Pitino obviously would have that place running wild but maybe Lav would be interested?

He didn't resign, he was fired. The Boosters at Utah came up with the money for his buyout so the Athletic Dept would not take the hit. At Indiana, same thing, Boosters came up with 10 million to buyout Miller. Just a lil something to think about.

Yeah, saw that after the initial report of "resignation." Still think he was a decent coach. But I guess boosters think he should be winning 26+ every year. Tough to do when the kids in your own state view you as No. 2.

Not a change but;

USF is investigating multiple incidents of racially charged comments from men’s basketball associate head coach Tom Herrion. They are also investigating head coach Brian Gregory for failing to discipline said coach, or report the matter to USF Athletics.

Steve Lavin supposedly very interested in UNLV job. Could be a good fit. I think they may pick current assistant, Kevin Kruger, son of Lon, and former player at UNLV (post-grad year.)

I thought I saw something where Grasso was no longer a candidate.  And it was between Tony Barbee and the Siena coach?  Did you see that too?
 
Luke Murray, Dino Gaudio not returning to Louisville as assistant coaches, current contracts would not be renewed
