Rick Pitino has just accepted the Job at Minnesota . Replacing his son Richard .  Rick has  also accepted the Coaching job at DePaul , Indiana and any other school looking for a Coach .   Not as far fetched as it seems .  Each new job opening up is better than the first one .. Rick is too slick , not to realize that .. He could be a 1 and done at Iona . 

Indiana would not surprise me. They still feel like they are an elite program and now need to make a big move after having treaded water with Archie Miller.

Have to say, Pitino landing in BE, perhaps at DePaul, raises the league’s profile which is good for the teams that are making the requisite commitment.

I hate to start crazy talk, or perpetuate it, but Rick Pitino has played or coached in the Boston area 4 times - UMass as a player, Boston University, Providence, Celtics as a head coach.   I would think he could inject a decent amount of energy and success into BC, where his son could join him as associate hc and coach in waiting.

No clue about Minnesota. Maybe Moser if he doesn't wind up at DePaul?

The only Minnesota teams I can remember are the ones that played ferocious defense, so I could see him fitting that mold with better athletes at his disposal.
