Guys on Matt’s Radar

Serious question,are we better with 6'11" 205, or 6'5" 240?
Your question should be are we better with 6'11" 205, or 6'9 240lb player. One will replace the other while the 6'5 kid will be waving his towel.
You beat me to it 72. Exactly. And Keita imo will bring more to the Johnnies than Tariq.

Every freshman will grow one inch by the time the official team roster is published because at St. John's we measure in socks and sneakers plus hair. It is called der Haar-Effekt.
ChicagoDays, Owens averaged 8.4ppg, 6 rbs.and 3 blks in 30 plus mpg. I expect Keita will give us an extra rebound or two per game and better defense but probably two blocks less per game. The key is going to be can Roberts give us something more than Yakwe & Amar gave us as backups at that position. Given where we finished last year, we need improvement at the big man position.

Any prediction on what Keita can contribute amounts to a gut feeling.

Okay NCJohnnie. I’m just peeved at Tariq for depleting the better depth we would’ve had, if he had stayed.
My point is though, that Keita fits into what we need more than Tariq. That we will not need Tariq’s deadly 3-pt accuracy (sarcasm).
And I bet Keita matches Tariq’s ppg and gives us more boards / game.
Plus, I think Roberts and ME will be better spot-duty backups than Yakwe and Amar were.
I could be totally wrong.
We shall see.

I’m Italian—that’s what I got going for me! Kidding, just being emotional. Peeved at Tariq.

Going into Derby mode now. Hope the staff can work some Good Magic and Justify not having another big!

If you have another burger could we get 16 ppg and 10 rebounds?

Only after you've been Enticed to believe that at some point we will see the team's Promises Fulfilled! Maybe we should just call an Audible and forget about drinking the Vino Rosso until we get another big!

We had this guy who was taller than me had to be 6 ft 6 his name I think was Henri. He must have had 25 points and 20 rebounds.Heck he might post here

Rooting for this team, I feel like the little kid getting the mystery box birthday present from my uncle. Some years the gift sucks, some years it's great. But I alway looked forward to opening the box, hopefully.

Lol!

Jordan Brown mercifully ending his recruiting tomorrow. Choosing between heavy favorite Nevada, Arizona and Cal. Lots of of hours wasted in CA that could have been spent on high 3 star / low 4 star kids who could actually help us, but I digress.

Hate to cast aspersions (but I will): Something fishy seems to be up at Nevada. Just seems out of place a bunch of times.
