He's probably talking about Whitney, and it's 100 percent based on one vote. . .

Thanks LJSA. Much can and will happen before crunch time next year. We need some late success now with a big or two and good vibes going into the Fall. Here’s hoping we’re in great positions with Kofi , Khalil and a couple more.

I think that would be a great class for us. Now we just need to get some grad bigs, win a lot next season, and show that we can make the tournament during a kid's stay here. Then we just back and wait for Paultz to change his avatar.

Lol. Exactly!
There is nothing wrong with the list that TIS provided. It is true. Doesn’t mean that we can’t have a good team next year and a better high school recruiting class next year.

At this point I am not looking for replacements for Owens but solid big man grad transfers that can score a little and rebound. With at least 3 roster spots available I think we can afford to find 2 of those type players if practicable to pair with Keita.
Don't know if this kid can replace Owens but certainly has the strength and height to rebound better then him. Obviously he can score, just look at what he did against the likes of Clemson.etc. So that should take care of Owens going by,by..However, I do agree we need a biggie backup at center behind Keita. And all will be good.

Seriously?
Fair question.

BTW, and on serious note, do you still hear that the 2 year plan (staff changes and Mullin becoming more involved 8n recruiting) is for real or do you think it lost its way when we won a few big games after the 11 game slide?

Not so optimistic about 19 class but seem to have shots at Kofi, Gaffney & perhaps Whitney, but best approach is to stay on kids they feel good about & start winning. The perception of program has to change.

Tea leaves say Femi visits soon & transfer goal could be a grad big, hopefully Femi, and two sit out transfers. Obviously that outcome will shape 19 recruiting. I too tire of being so transfer dependent, but, with one guy out there beating bushes, not sure what alternatives are. Hopefully if he lands sit out transfers, they are high quality. Simons & Clark come to mind.

With an interior guy like Femi added to the mix, I do believe there is a window of opportunity to “dance” but beyond that who knows. We just desperately need to have a winning, attention getting next season.

Absolutely.

The plan is make NCAA'S next year and make a big push on 19 kids and have a l egit top 20 team then.

Me personally I want to see it but I don't get great vibes from this staff.

They don't make the Tourney this coming year there is going to be some serious soul searching on Utopia Parkway over this staff.

What I'm still stuggling with is if Mullin is content with the staff makeup ?

If he even spent time talking to Mike Rice, that would suggest that there might be some potential to add some additional payroll, even if Rice was not a perceived fit.

If it's $, it's short sighted.... and Mullin should take a slight haircut on salary to fund another warm body on staff...

If Mullin thinks Matt can/should do it call on recruiting trail with St. Jean putting one line in the water only for a guy like Brown and Richmond can sit on his ass half the year, then he is even less fit to be coach than I ever though possible. Pains me to say that.

Slice contract ends next year right? I guess the administration is just waiting until it expires.

I understand why, but it still sucks.

I thought we had a good shot with Coulibaly, any info in that regard?
