@Georgetown, Tue., Jan. 28 , 6:30p, FS-1

Out of sheer boredom I went back and looked at your comment history in all the game threads for the last six games, and every single one had some version of "I don't feel good about this one/ I don't see us winning".

So maybe you could just let us know if you ever feel good about any game and otherwise we'll just assume you think we're going to lose. 😂
I think it's Silly-speak for, "$#!+, I hope this isn't the game we don't pull another win out of the hat.", a feeling that I for one keep having. I think we can call this conditioning that we've picked up over the years, expecting to wake up and realize (from an embarrassing loss) that it's all been a dream. But we keep winning and I'm still awake. :)

Are you seriously using a game WE WON as justification for your worry-wartism? "Well, were losing at one point!" Buddy... 😂 😂 😂

(Btw, we had a whole argument before the game when I said I wasn't worried about them...AND WE WON.)

But please, keep being negative before every game. One time you'll be right and get to say I told you so ( which is the whole point)

And btw, I'm sure your CYO coaching career was impressive, but please with the "for those who understand the game" nonsense. I wouldn't be busting that out if I was on a six game (soon to be seven!) prediction losing streak!

LETS GO REDMEN!
He's always setting up fallacies, so he can argue against or debate about it soon afterwards. He's extremely passive-aggressive as well. Like I've said in the past, negativity and pessimism is dopamine for a few.

As usual, your post is inaccurate, offers nothing to this discussion and just serves to antagonize another poster.

GT losing O rebounding war allowing PC second chances.
Thanks, good to know.
That makes one of our strong points even stronger.
Lewis and Zubie 35 pts between them and a rebounding holiday.

I hate to say the word "Romp." but I can think it.

Any team that makes a habit of coming back from high
double digit deficits ,nice alliteration, has heart and
"You've gotta have heart."

Circle the wagons and get it done guys. A little bench contribution, controlling offensive boards and not giving them a big first half lead lead seems advisable. Peavy and Sorber will cause us some problems, but their guards really struggled last game. No crying about Smith being out, Providence has been without their star all year and really took it to GT Saturday. Glover has been ice cold from outside. Perhaps he is due can hit a jumper or two as GT will zone us or pack it in down low, begging us to beat them from perimeter. Lastly, this mentally tough group is far less concerned about Dev being out than our neurotic fan base. 😇

I think a healthy Smith is important for the tough part of the schedule coming up , Marquette and UCONN, Creighton .
No secret there.
But , during his absence we have seen the long awaited KR return to the level of play he’s delivered last year .
Commentators , more than one , have expressed the opinion that going to the right to the basket , he’s unstoppable . Going for the lay up or mid range inside the foul line jumper .
I think they are right
In my opinion , having KR playing alongside Wilcher has had excellent results . Better than pairing KR with Smith .
That’s not knocking Smith but , there is only 1 BB and Smith and KR need it . Sharing is not the best line up .
Which then presents the problem of getting Wilcher some rest on the Bench
When Smith comes in , KR goes out . Smith
can handle bring up the ball with Wilcher as the SG. When Wilcher goes out , KR with Scott or RJ can bring the ball up and KR is the PG . Smith goes out .
Then, when Smith is out , KR and Wilcher are paired up again .
I think our recent games have shown KR plays best with Wilcher , not Smith .
Pitno can manage minutes however he wants . But , down the stretch of the season , KR , RJ , Zuby are the key . Smith still gets a lot of minutes .

Hoping for a recovery from Smith as soon as possible. Like others said we can win and build a good team without him but unless Smith, Glover or Prey get significantly better imo margin of error is much greater without Smith.

I agree Smith is important to our success for the rest of the year .
But ,I’m liking the KR, RJ , Zuby, Wilcher , Scott as our best team on the floor .
