This game is butt ugly. G’Town treats the ball like it’s a live grenade. Meanwhile, we miss layups at a rate unseen in major college ball.
 
Amar 5-25 this season against D-1 completion and that include a 2-4 against Sacred Heart. Almost all of those 3-pointers.
 
Trimble hit an open 3 in rythym - may be just what he needed for a shot of confidence. Need to stick to Yakwe & Trimble off the bench tonight.
 
Just need to give Trimble some time. He will be a solid contributor. We should be ahead at half though. Ahmed missing in action tonight.
 
Georgetown doubling us up on the boards 32-16. 13-4 on the offensive end. 10 boards at the half for Govan.
 
St. John's 10-20 from 2 and 2-13 from 3.(Trimble 2-2). Clark needs to set up inside the NBA 3.
 
Do or die tonight guys. Owens needs to continue being a monster defending the rim, Simon needs to distribute and play smart, Ponds, Ahmed & Clark need to make shots in 2nd half and we can take this one. No foul trouble, so short rotation in 2nd half is what we need. Let's go Johnnies!
 
A guy on the halftime show commented: "If St. John's would hit their shots, they'd be up double digits." Smack dangled truth, ain't it?!? Damn.
