Do you watch any part of basketball other than guys taking 3s? Serious question.
Do you have a personal vendetta against RJ Luis? The guy has carried us in the last three games with three double doubles and you find fault. Your constant put downs of the kid rivals Marallacs treatment last year of Jenkins,

As to your question, of course I do but to deny that the three point shot is not an important part of today’s college game is foolish. My criticism of Wilcher, if that’s what you are referring to is not just his 3 point shooting, it’s his poor shooting period. He is the “two guard” and that’s supposed to be his role.

If you want to question my knowledge of the game etc? I’m sure my background/experience in the coaching world etc. will more than hold its own against yours.

The comment here was about Wilcher. Whose shot has not been falling (along with Scott and basically the entire team) but there are ways to impact the game when when that's the case. Which is why he plays over Glover despite the fact that Glover's shot has been more consistent.

We have about 2 posters here who don't seem to credit any part of the game other than shooting, but fortunately most of them (not to mention the staff) look at things more sensibly.

To humor your "let's talk about RJ instead" approach, he is tremendously athletically talented, a critical part of this team since we need someone who can create for themselves and he's pretty much it, he's generally an excellent defender and rebounder, and he has made enormous progress in understanding the game and improving his decision making.

He still does a few dopey things every game almost all of which could be avoided by passing the basketball, but no player is perfect.

All of that is what I have posted pretty consistently about him, along with that he, Zuby and Richmond are the three essential cogs to this team and that the difference maker is Scott as the 4th if he can hit some shots to go along with the other non-scoring things he contributes.

I'd say that analysis was pretty consistent with tonight's game.

Scott's value to our team has very little to do with scoring. Not only is he a super one on one defender he makes so many hustle plays on both ends and had 9 rebounds. Yes he missed three shots inside but but was 4-7 from three. He is the best defender we have had since DPOY Justin Simon.

NC Johnnie . Scott has emerged from the doldrums he was lost in earlier in the season .
No doubt about it .
You mentioned my preference for Taylor and during earlier games, Scott had a few 0 points games and was invisible in his other play .
But , you are right , Scott has stepped up big time the last 2 games .
I still think Taylor was a nice player for us and was a loss to the team when he left .
Scott is getting a lot more minutes than Taylor got last year .
I think you would agree we could have used Taylor tonight .

He’s on a good Oklahoma team .

A great comeback win in a down to the wire game .
