Miracles do happen, like Gtown running the table a couple of years ago. Not sure the basketball gods will allow CMA hero ball to do the same. We can only pray.
In order for that to possibly happen, and it’s like a 15% chance maybe, we need everyone healthy. Posh can’t stay healthy, Pinzon can’t stay healthy, Mathis done. I did not think we have a chance for that to happen.

Dylan can play on my team anytime and all the time.
He frustrates the hell out of you sometimes but he’s a tough kid and he’s not afraid of any situation. I agree, I will take him anytime. Especially when he shoots the way he did today.

Glad for the W but this was painful to watch.
While Soriano collected another double-double, he once again struggled around the rim. Some of his misses were within 3 ft of the basket. Not a good look for pro scouts.
Spears was unstoppable and kept the Hoyas out front with key shots.
We obviously miss Posh in the backcourt. Not sure why Pinzon was DNP.
MUST BEAT THE HALL!
What’s going on with this kid Pinzon? He is constantly either sick or injured! What gives? i Don’t know what his problems are!

What I didn’t understand was on that last play, why Spears, who was making shots all game, was the one they had inbounding the ball with 1.2 seconds left? I could see if they ran a play where he inbounded the ball, used a pick and received the ball back for a shot but there wasn’t enough time for that. You would think they would want him with a lest a chance to touch the ball for the final shot.

That’s a tough one for Ewing. Not a good look.

I recall the refs swallowing their whistle on VCU’s last second shot. Ponds clearly fouled the shooter on the arm, but no call was made. A rare occasion for us.
I was at the VCU game as well. My favorite memory was Dr. J (Julious Erving) was at the game. His son was playing the game before ours. He was walking up the stairs and I was like speechless when he must have caught us with the OMG it’s Dr. J look. He stopped and said hello. I almost fell out of my seat. I always tell my son that he was Jordan before Jordan. 🙂That we won that night made a good night even better.

Was at the game today and I like the way Ghostzapper summed it up.....it was not a well played game, but definitely a fun atmosphere and it was nice to come away with the win.

A few thoughts.....

Curbelo is a problem and I really can't understand why he is left out there

Why so few minutes for Stanley in the second half? Wusu kept getting stuck down low with Wahab and GT was killing us with second chance shots.

Primo Spears is a very good player. Sweet pull up jumper.

Georgetown is a really bad team

David Jones could have been helpful this year if he was shown his proper role.

Not saying Kolby King is the answer, but he probably hurts us a lot less than Curbelo.

Way lower than 15 percent
