Exactly RMN. That's the reason that I enjoyed watching CMA's first 2 teams so much. Those kids listened and they played hard pretty much every minute on the courtI have been asking for more minutes for both Stanley and Storr since the beginning of the season. Today I would like to add King to that group. If we are going to lose we may as well lose with young kids who listen and want to play hard.
Exactly. Remember when our fan base couldn't wait for Chris's kids to be gone so that CMA could bring in his own kids? Well now CMA has all his own kids. Imagine a manager in any other walk of life saying "it's not my fault, they won't listen to me"? Unheard of.I understand you not giving him a pass, no one should and he doesn’t deserve it , but we barely beat one of the all time bad big east teams and on our home court. Curbelo and Jones playing out of control and playing hero ball is all on him. Poor defence is all on him. No offensive sets is all on him. Allowing a 14-0 run without call a time out is all on him. Not calling plays for Storr is on him, not pulling AC when he is out of control and giving King minutes is on him, not pulling Jones when he is out of control and playing Omar is all on him. And after having three full recruiting classes is fully and squarely on CMA.
Beating the Hall at home would be just holding serve. If we can beat Xavier, MQ or PC then we can dream.
We would need to beat Hall, X, MQ AND PC for me to start dreaming. And even then, I'm not so sure.Beating the Hall at home would be just holding serve. If we can beat Xavier, MQ or PC then we can dream.

Dom Pointer hit a buzzer beater from the corner in a first round NIT game.Feels like last time we hit game winning shot was Hardy vs Pit
Miracles do happen, like Gtown running the table a couple of years ago. Not sure the basketball gods will allow CMA hero ball to do the same. We can only pray.ESPKEN,
Very logical, but some of us die-hards will find any excuse to dream a little. A loss to either Gtown today or Hall Wednesday would kill my ability to dream, but winning both keeps the dream alive, albeit barely.
Thought the announcers said it wouldn't have counted, but they said a lot of nonsensical stuff today, so who knows.I just returned from the Garden. Not a winning performance by us by any means, but a really exciting win nonetheless. Watching this team try to comeback and miss free throw after free throw is absolutely maddening. Georgetown is obviously not a very good team but we did tighten it up on defense and took it to the rim down the stretch. That made up for an abysmal stretch at the end of the first half that would have definitely lost the game against better competition.
BTW I thought, but was not sure, that Georgetown's last shot would have not counted if it went in. Leaving the Garden the consensus was that it would have counted, but on the Georgetown website they said it would not have counted. I could not find a replay of that shot. Any opinions about whether that last shot got off in time.
If that happens, CMA gets another extension. So I'm not doing any praying. Look what the GT run did their program.Miracles do happen, like Gtown running the table a couple of years ago. Not sure the basketball gods will allow CMA hero ball to do the same. We can only pray.

Just saying atleast they got there. Leap year comes more often than NCAA bids for our beloved program. If that happens, CMA gets another extension. So I'm not doing any praying. Look what the GT run did their program.
