Exactly RMN. That's the reason that I enjoyed watching CMA's first 2 teams so much. Those kids listened and they played hard pretty much every minute on the court

Exactly. Remember when our fan base couldn't wait for Chris's kids to be gone so that CMA could bring in his own kids? Well now CMA has all his own kids. Imagine a manager in any other walk of life saying "it's not my fault, they won't listen to me"? Unheard of.

But, having seen X, Marquette and PC play several times, I'm expecting nightmares, not dreams
We barely squeaked by a team that lost something like 29 consecutive BE games before beating DePaul
If we win one of those games at home, our fans should storm the court!!!

Very logical, but some of us die-hards will find any excuse to dream a little. A loss to either Gtown today or Hall Wednesday would kill my ability to dream, but winning both keeps the dream alive, albeit barely.
 
I just returned from the Garden. Not a winning performance by us by any means, but a really exciting win nonetheless. Watching this team try to comeback and miss free throw after free throw is absolutely maddening. Georgetown is obviously not a very good team but we did tighten it up on defense and took it to the rim down the stretch. That made up for an abysmal stretch at the end of the first half that would have definitely lost the game against better competition.

BTW I thought, but was not sure, that Georgetown's last shot would have not counted if it went in. Leaving the Garden the consensus was that it would have counted, but on the Georgetown website they said it would not have counted. I could not find a replay of that shot. Any opinions about whether that last shot got off in time.

Miracles do happen, like Gtown running the table a couple of years ago. Not sure the basketball gods will allow CMA hero ball to do the same. We can only pray.

Thought the announcers said it wouldn't have counted, but they said a lot of nonsensical stuff today, so who knows.
