That's what would happen to a typically normal tortured fanbase. "Historical Big east rival and ghost of John Thompson spoil Johnnies tournament chances on senior day." Too painless for us. I'm going with we win this one and lose the defacto play in game in triple overtime on a Wusu last second shot Soriano attempts to block but instead "own goals" it into our basket.
 
I guess you worry about a guy like Epps going off tomorrow being pumped to play in the garden but we are just on another level right now I think we are going to cream Georgetown tomorrow! Then onto the BET no way we are losing to Seton Hall a third time payback time! Win these next two and we are in the tourney for sure.
 
No CA at Tir na nog. Unfortunately, my spectating live is done for the year as I'm missing Gtown and the BE tournament for the 1st time in like 40 years. I know I can count on you guys to be loud, proud and drunk to cheer us on to victory and give Joel and Daniss the senior day send-off they deserve.

If nothing else, Pitino certainly has proven he will not stop trying “things” until he finds the key or the season ends. Me, I’m just glad he seems to have found it before he had to go full on Fraschilla, knowing him he might have decided to do THAT publicly also.

I agree with you 110 percent . A Coach of Pitino’s skills surely erupted at times in a closed Locker room . With obviously no impact on these players .

Thus , a Coach prodding his Players by whatever means necessary , might be outside our boundaries but , we are not a Coach tryout g to bring a dormant Program to some degree of respectability . Within as short time frame possible .

How many times in Televised games does a Coach yank a player and let them have a earful before the Player sits down ? A lot !

That’s a public forum too, and actually get to see the Coaches outrage .

So , if a Coach making Millions of dollars in a pressure job , like Coaching College BB , gets miffed at Players lack of performance , why should he be restrained .

Pitino isn’t worried about job security due to his stature .
But ? How about a Coach like Tony Stubblefield that had to try and Coach of group of DePaul players to try and win 1 BE game .

They didn’t ! It’s not relevant to just say he was a bad Coach . Getting to a level to Coach in the BE means he had to have some sort of resume .

So, some accountability has to be directed to the Players themselves . With the Portal and NIL having to bring 5 players to get on the same page in 1 season is a might big task .
Lastly , and we as fans seem to be having a tough time adjusting to the fact that v College BB is no longer a Student Athlete game .
Our players , like all others , are now Professionals . And , calling 25 year old players kids is ludicrous . They are men.

Kids ? Many of these players are 25 years old ? They are Men ! They are being paid to perform . Not just show up .
And , if your performance on the Court has been poor and that has impacted your pro aspirations , maybe you should have played better from game 1 .

That’s awesome and should be the case. I was just looking at Ticketmaster and they opened all the 200s section which only happened for a couple of the games. Great to see, with Gtown struggles will be very few Gtown fans. Need to have this game and home court advantage matters.
