Georgetown (MSG), Sat., Mar. 9, 12 Noon, FOX

I want to give a shoutout to all the SJU fans that have showed up to games this season. I think we are lucky to have so many fans when the program has stunk for over 2 decades.
Ditto!
Yesterday we had over 16,000 fans travel to Manhattan for a nationally televised game at high noon.
We are not even ranked but just the possibility of an NCAA bid has NYC fans filled with anticipation.
That's why I never thought about attendance at other schools playing in one horse towns like Dayton, Spokane, Syracuse and Lubbock.
You you can make it here......you can make it anywhere........NY, NY. 😉

This game showed how SJU has improved holding onto a lead during crunch time. Georgetown made four threes in the last few minutes which would have been disastrous a few weeks ago but SJU kept the offensive pressure on which resulted in the win.
The score was closer than we hoped but Georgetown made twelve threes shooting fifty per cent and that made it a tough win.

Similar to the last game... they showed they could hold on and Win.... Let's hope this spawns another 3 games of inspired play like after the last GTown W... ;)

Announcers were saying that one thing St. John’s never has to deal with is apathy unlike Georgetown right now. Even joked to ask any of the 500 coaches we’ve fired the last 25 years.

I brought kids yesterday who have never been to a game and had a blast. Honestly with Pitino I think we are as good a value in this market as anyone, and I'm a diehard fan of our professional sports teams. My season tickets are a pittance compared to what it costs to go to those games, and I had good seats this year.
Brought my 5 y.o. daughter as well Saturday. Had a blast (except for some ill-timed bathroom requests), even got some jumbotron time.
