Georgetown (MSG), Sat., Mar. 9, 12 Noon, FOX

Actually went to Jack Doyles post game, home of the Georgetown alumni post game. Nice people. One of our Chaminade is a Gtown alum, and I wore my St Johns hoodie...all good. Like us, their glory stories were in the 1980s.

Largest sized crowd I have seen at MSG since Lavin. An SJU-SHU matchup would be crazy.

Attendance: 16,127.

Yeah, if only; kind of like posters who criticize players for not feeding the post to a guy who very rarely posts up but spends most of his time at the top of the key by coaches design.
Maybe the coach's design is ill conceived when playing an opponent whose big man is a 6'8" guy from Fairfield ....

Can’t look
Stop that. When he makes good plays we compliment him, when he makes bad plays we criticize him.
Not so Monte, there are some that are over the top hard on him. I don’t mind the criticisms but if the kid does 10 things right and makes two mistakes he is crucified on this site. Today between his steals, passes scoring etc. he won the game. I don’t see many over the top compliments.

This message board is truly the twilight zone when it comes to Jenkins and Luis.

Also have read countless posts about Ledlum and Dingle not being Big East caliber players. 🙄
I had my doubts thru the 1st half of the season. In fairness, Dingle didn't play like one early in the season, and Ledlum seemed
overmatched. Both adjusted nicely as the season has progressed and are finishing strongly.

Point being it’s a long season. All these players coming in had to readjust their game to fit Rick’s style. Some patience would have been prudent.

I don’t blame fans one bit for their roller coaster emotions. This program is a roller coaster so why would it be any diff? Start hot, lose 8/10 fading from NCAAT, win last 4 coming into tonight & barelyyy scrape by to win nearly blowing it vs. awful GTown team at home. Fans will respond based directly on performance. Great job winning last 5 & I really don’t think committee can leave out a 19 win 11-9 Pitino led SJ team even if we lose to Hall worst case. Hall is a terrrrrrible matchup for us. Regularly out-tough us & way more athletic.
