And he ended game with only 2 fouls and 22 minutes.
I'm no coach, but I think these coaches get too worried about guards with 2 fouls and sit too soon.
Unless there's several "bid stealers," then I think we're in if we garner the 5th seed in the Big East. I'm saying that before the ball is tipped off on Thursday.
We may need a win as a 6th seed, but otherwise I think we're in as the 5th seed. We'll probably end up in Dayton if we lose as the 5th seed, so I definitely want to advance to Friday to rid any doubts of playing in Dayton.

Luis played under control for most of the afternoon and had a real nice afternoon. Lets hope he keeps that up in the post season.
Frankly, neither was I, except that I was changing my mind about keeping him to see if he would be willing to learn to play “the right way.”Just for the record, Im not admitting I was wrong

I hear you. But it’s a game many in this area probably went to for years. Meet up with friends, other alums, etc.
Is that some sort of surprise? It's not like Georgetown's student population is local or ever has been.
It's honestly not, but today felt even more extreme considering the attendance on TV at the Verizon Center has looked bleak
When his shots are falling, as they were today, all is forgiven, but when they're not....
Having said that, I do think he's learned how to play a bit more under control, and Rick has learned when to play him and when to sit him. How to reap the benefits when he's hot, and minimize the damages when he's not.
We don't usually need a big game from him to win, but it's nice to have that potential extra weapon in our arsenal.
If only somebody had posted about kids being able to learn and develop over time
LOL my buddy who played for Pitt was at the game with me and after the second 3 the kid hit I said to him "you've been Pittsnoggled" (for those who don't know there's nothing Pitt hates more than WVU)
