I hate the fact the Mike thinks STJ can win the BE Tourney. He said it's either the big 2 , or STJ. He is never right, and people are now killing him for not knowing golf either-- funny radio.

Oddsmakers have us a resounding third option to win the Big East. We are twice as likely as #4 Xavier! SJU -600 and Xavier is -1200 at #4. Both Nova and Creighton opened just under -200.

I can't find the odds anywhere. Where did you find them? I pick SJU vs Gtown final ( if Gtown can keep their legs).

I agree. I think us, PC and Marquette are evenly matched teams. The difference between us and PC is that we have more options, while they have the more reliable option in Cotton.

As far as guarding Cotton, I think we should alternate Phil and Sheed on him. I wouldn't want to ask our pg to chase after him all game on defense and then run the team for 30 minutes. When Branch comes in, I would put Sheed on him. When Phil is in, I would have Phil cover him. When they set a screen for him, I would like to see the man on the screener try to jam Cotton up a bit, while Cotton's man fights above the screen. We have to avoid switching and having CO end up on him while a guard ends up on their bigs. We should primarily play man but switch into a zone occasionally, to change things up. Also, I hope we press often. We should pressure their guards and make them work to bring the ball up. Our bigs are fast enough to get back and guard the rim.
