Fordham game

It was suggested that he may redshirt as he wasn't getting PT. That rumor can obviously be put to rest now.

Offensive rebounding at half was 11-0 Fordham not sure what stats are now.

Overall very impressive game all around for the johnnies. Bring on the cuse!

11-0 because you cant board a make- we didnt miss

My comment was more about the fact of defensive rebounding as compared to their great offensive rebounding. With the size we have it shouldn't happen. I think it's due to the fact the bigs are going for blocks on most possessions.

I think it's because they shot mostly three's the first half and all of the rebounds were long.

I would have loved to see them get a second game this weekend based on this performance. If they played like they did today and beat LaSalle tomorrow it would have been a good looking win at the end of the season and gave them 2 great wins going into Syracuse next week.

With both Marco and Hooper in the game at the same time, it got me thinking......when was the lat time we had 2 white players on the court at the same time?

Definitely right after the Pittsburgh scandal when we had only walk ons playing, including Phil Missiere and someone I believe with the last name McDonald.

Wow. This is insane. A very pleasant surprise to see a monster blowout.
And....my Spurs with 6 quick points the last couple of days. Finally!

Another couple of wins and your Spurs will be in command of that coveted Europa league spot :cheer:

There was a lot of talk this last week about Jon Severe and why Lavin didn't recruit him harder. I think his 1-17 shooting today is the reason why..

no - Rysheed is the reason

Joey A had his 15mins

The biggest thing I take from this game is how well Sampson and Sanchez shot the ball especially from the high post area. Those are the shots that we are going to have to hit and the spots we are going to have to find next week to spread the Syracuse zone. If we can get to the middle of that zone we have a good shot to be in that game.

Haha..real funny

I've had nothing good to feel about sports-wise lately, so I'm a happy guy right now.

would be nice if some recruits saw this today. Briscoe especially

If St. John's plays this hard against Syracuse, we are going to be a very happy bunch next Sunday

This is one game I'm just going to enjoy :)

Have a great weekend guys

I turned on fs1 and was bummed the game was not on. Fortunately I remember someone ousting it was os fox sun in s fl. I was able to watch a very enjoyable game. We played like a team and put on a clinic.

Unbelievable offense. Hard to remember a performance such as this, especially their consistency in both halfs. Obviously, this was what was expected from the start of the year. Not too late to continue. Who knows, maybe playing in the garden helped motivate this squad. Kudos to Sanchez who played with so much confidence. Good to see Sampson on the high post, need him there against the Cuse.

It was just absolute total domination from start to finish. I cant remember them ever playing this good. Only complaint was we gave them too many 2nd chances in the 1st half but the offense was a machine start to finish. We are peaking at just the right time to tear down the Orange.

Severe pushing off on almost every drive. Not called once but we are starting to accumulate fouls.

I thought there was a lot of contact on drives by both teams, guess these refs didn't hear about the new touch rules.
