Fordham game

When Fordham passed in to the low post or had someone drive towards the low post and the ball was then kicked back out to the offensive left corner by Fordham, we almost never got a defender back out in time to contest the three. If that is C J Fair and we do the same thing next week, it could be big trouble.

In addition to not closing out on the three point shooters, Fordham had 27 offensive rebounds. I we give Syracuse that many second chances the game will get ugly quick. We must rebound the ball better.

Actually it was Al McGuire who referred to centers as aircraft carriers.
 
Best way to end this thread is to come up with a new term, final score was 104-58, Fordham's zip code is 10458, that's right, we "zip coded" them. >-)

Wear it again on sunday. I plan on wearing the exact same thing I wore to the fordham game. I think I might eat the same exact thing for breakfast also. Gotta keep the karma going
 
We broke Jon Severe. In this two games since his 1-21 against St. John's, he's averaging 9 points on 6-23 shooting (26.1%) and 2-10 from three.

And that was against Colgate and Howard.

I watched part of the Howard game.

Pecora tried to get Severe to pad his stats.

Fordham was up around 30 I believe with 2 minutes to play. He left Severe in. Severe put up 3s and shot a floater in the lane.

Kid can shoot himself out of a slump in practice. You don't leave your leading scorer and the conference's leading scorer on the court risking injury when you're up 30.

Disgusting.

Agree. "Not so Slick" Tom desperately want Severe to be Frosh of Year in A10 to establish notion team is on right track. He probably hopes to get latitude to establish another five year plan.
