Totally agree. Too bad we don't have 5 guards. Play a five guard offense. All you lose is blocks but what do they get you when they either go out of bounds and back to the other team who we then still can't defend or right to the other team for an open follow since two guys are still returning to earth from the block effort and aren't around to get the loose ball. Guaranteed we'd get more rebounds and more points in the lane with 5 guards. Better yet play 4 guards and Amar and tell him he will be kicked off the team if he shoots from outside 7 feet. Make him camp in the lane and fight for rebounds on O and D and defend the other team's big body. Play a zone against big teams. If Villanova can play 4 guards why can't we. For variety we can play 4 guards and Bashir with him camped down low and to get really crazy Bashir, Amar and 3 guards. Mainly dramatically reduce the time that Sima, Yakwe and Owens are on the court since they are giving the team almost nothing at the moment on O or D. Perhaps put one of the in at a time for short periods just as a change of pace. I started down this road in sarcasm but the more i think abut it the more I think it is the way to go.Keep Lovett at pg start Mussini at sg and move Ponds to Power Forward or Center
