He was brought here to shoot. Period. He is what he is.. He is a offensive Role Player and, originally recruited by Lavin. Mullin got him to recommit. long range shooters miss sometimes. But, when 2 6 " 10 players cant grab a rebound or, defend a lick, what can you do?
It's going to be a wait until next year season. Mullin will get it done. Have Faith.
It is not even December yet and the season is over. We are playing for absolutely nothing.
At least last year we had the Syracuse win and were something like 7-4 before the fallout began. We were still playing meaningful basketball in December. We had (delusional) hope. This year's optimism didn't even last a full week.
No excuses, we don't have injuries or suspensions either.
Something is wrong. Not sure who's to blame but somehow we're underperforming the very low bar.

This was a very tough watch. My chief concerns...........
-The team looked listless and uninspired. Delaware State clearly wanted the game more.
-We might have more talent, but at this moment in time, Delaware State knows how to play the game of basketball much better than us.
-Alibegovic and Owens may not be our best players, but at least they're aggressive and play with some fire. I would have tried to get a spark from them tonight.
-Question: Do our big men grease their hands with butter prior to the game?
-No adjustments on defense throughout the second half was maddening.
I am fully vested and supportive of this staff. I believe things will get much better and, truthfully, we need them to. After all, it is extremely important for the Mullin era to be successful. Hopefully we can add some coaching experience to that bench.

The only good thing about tonight was watching Wisconsin carve up SarahCuse's vaunted 2-3 zone and empty the bench at the end of the game

We lose a lot when Ahmed was in foul trouble..replaced by Ellison who unlike his pop is always nervous...he just can't make correct decisions at hi speed and he is a turnover machine...overall depressing game but Del St did shoot lites out entire game...I guess that happens when u play soft defense with no adjustments or variations for 40 minutes
We should have tried to set up a game with Coppin State instead (also of the MEAC conf).

:angry: Disgraceful showing. Mullin, It's called defense, 79 points for a 1 & 5 team. Both Yakwe and Sima allowed their man to pop short jumpers. Add their poor rebounding and scoring. They couldn't score if left alone. And the porous defense allowed Delaware State to penetrate and score layups and short jumpers.
Ellison should have gotten a part in the new movie, " LA LA Land." As soon as he comes in with over five minutes remaining in the first half he looks away as Lovett bounces a pass to him on the high post.
The question is will Mullin reach at least 10 wins this season?
