Creighton (MSG), Sun., Feb. 25, 12 Noon, CBS

Yup, Creighton defends threes aggressively and begs you to take mid range shots. Backfired v terrible three point shooting SJ
They dared Soriano and Zuby to shoot wide open from top of key but neither went for the cheese. Well schooled by Rick to instill that discipline. When zuby and soriano stayed high, Wilcher Dingle and Jenkins slashed for midrange jumpers off the dribble and were deadly in the seams.

Rick deserves an A for his coaching today. If not for that stretch in the first half where he had that odd lineup up in, and they made a run, I'd have given him an A+. Not only does the team need to bring its A+ game the rest of the way(if we hope to dance), but so does Rick.
Two keys to the game today: great 3pt defense and his giving the starting five a blow in each half . Method to Coach's madness-they have been a tired team down the stretch, ergo, give them a blow to in each half to replenish their stamina.

I tend to root for overachieving, hustling types and really hope Taylor returns. Will never be prolific scorer obviously but can make timely plays, be it rebounds, D stops or some assists.

Taylor had career-high 10 rebounds and matched Jenkins with a game-high six assists. 👏

I'm fine with the blows, but don't like the line up change and the Traore/Zuby combo. My issue was specific to the 1st half.

They started to drag badly before he subbed out in second half. Subs held the fort so roof didn't cave in

Great call on your part

Just finished watching. Really nice win. We benefited from Creightons Uconn win hangover. Outside of Alexander, no one else got off the plain.

We were deadly from midrange today. Jenkins was spectacular as usual. Dingle had his 2nd good game in a row for the 1st time this season.

Wed night should be fun!

Did you mean plane, plains, or plantation? (Apologies to Coach McDermott and to you) 😀

Amazingly Creighton fans on one of their boards are complaining about today's officiating? What game were they watching?
That’s completely and utterly ridiculous! They had hardly any fouls called on even when they were butchering our guys underneath and we have three fouls called on us when the replays showed that our guy never even touched their guy. We can’t even get a home whistle.

Finally able to read the post-game thread. Was an awesome game to go to. Loud, intense crowd. Not as much students there, but makes since because of Spring Break. Just goes to show you the potential this program has to make this a hot ticket. I've already decided to get a season ticket for next year.

Don't have that much to add. Jenkins, Dingle, Taylor and Ledlum all had huge games in different ways.

I really appreciated Ledlum being everywhere on the court and making some big blocks. His energy was contagious for the crowd and team.

Everyone knows I love Taylor's game and have no idea what happened btwn him & Rick from Jan 1 to today, but he is the ultimate glue guy with actual athleticism & the ability to do something on offense. I hope he continues to get big minutes. He would be an awesome piece for next year.

This is what we all expected from Dingle. Seems like he's moving with an extra pep in his step these last two games, looks a little more confident out there. If we're going to make a run, this is the real x-factor.

Jenkins made big shots and kept pouring cold water on their runs. He made some stupid plays down the stretch but didn't matter in the end. I hope he's looked back with more positivity than negativity when the season's over -- he really deserves it.

Wednesday is another must win. Hinkle has felt like a house of horrors for us. We must exorcise that demon. Win there, beat DePaul and Georgetown, we will be very very squarely on the bubble. We can do it!

I only saw one obvious bad call against them. When Ashworth was knocked down at mid court and a jump ball resulted. Other then that no advantage I saw.
