Huge today to break road slide, but margin of error to punch Dance ticket is still a challenge. Proverbial “one game at a time” applies now. We did a lot of things right today, especially scoring in paint, rebounding and defending. Hopefully that translates to consistency.
A gréât win today which I unfortunately was not able to watch as Xavier/Marquette was the game shown in Canada. Hopefully the team goes forward and builds of off this game. A little less Andre, less Jones until he understands his abilities and role better, more Pinzon , more Storr , sprinkles of Stanley when the matchup permits, and we can be a good team going forward. Posh has been better the last few games now that the keys have been returned to him, nothing I can say will give Soriano the credit he deserves for his play this season, no words can adequately describe his play. I thought Dylan would get blocked at least half a dozen times today and his play of late has been very pleasant. I hope he keeps it up as he is a kid who leaves it all out every game.
If we beat Nova I start to get a little excited again. Right now I am just thrilled with beating the hated Huskies , especially on their court, and will take it one game at a time.
Congrats to the team and staff.

DOWN GOES UCONN, DOWN GOES UCONN, DOWN GOES UCONN

St. John's got their first Quad 1 win of the year.

St. John's got their first true road win of the year.

Has St. John's turned the corner as they back up their Butler win with a convincing double-digit win over #6 UConn? What a great win for this program. Kudos to Mike Anderson, Kudos to the kids, the staff, monster win.

The Providence game is really where all of this started. That's when he started going with the rotations we've been seeing lately.

We didn't the win that game, but it was a good performance, that appears to have carried over.

-Took away the perimeter after slacking first 5-10 minutes.

- doubled post off Jackson

- used use it or lose it timeout for a bucket to end 1st.

- uconn was the team to call a TO before the U16 media TO

Loved him whenever I saw him play as a freshman. But now I swear it seems like he's auditioning for a reality series half the time.
He truly is an enigma.

He certainly has talent. And can be a game changer if he plays under control.

But man some of the things he does are bonkers. That fadeaway 3 pointer was a WTF moment.

Just watched the game after reffing some games. What a great win. Watching the game as I read the posts is the way to go. That way I'm not going crazy watching it. Super effort by so many. Really good job by the staff preparing and coaching up the team. Key changes in personnel a big factor. On to 'Nova. Will be happily watching that one from warmer Venice.
Im just north of you on Longboat Key.

Really nice to see Posh has the keys to the The Program again, it's rejuvenated him on the defensive end...still shouldn't be taking 3pters under any circumstances.
Really nice to see the progression and growth of Pinzon and Storr, bringing the offense needed. First Penny, this season Soriano is proof that players can develop under this coaching staff. Respect to Zendon Hamilton.
Really nice to see a commitment to a game plan today, attacking in the paint, cutting to the paint, not always settling for 3pt chucks.

One game at a time, next victim, Villanova

We were out doing a bunch of family stuff today so I didn’t watch or even check the score on my phone. I just went online a few minutes ago.

Oh my! What a great win.
I hope you have it dvrd so you can watch it. Well worth it.

Whoever said let's get Curbelo out of here next year, I agree 100%, just not worth it. What are you doing dude!! you airball a free throw then foul, then get a technical, WTF. I would suspend him next game if I was CMA.
obviously you never worked with young people.
