Please tell me what Hewett brings to the table besides he is from the area. Talk about X/Os coach, he has never won anything, he seems clueless out there, and brings in a nice recruit once in awhile, big deal. They never develop either. PASS!!!

I don't care what other posters beliefs are about the program, etc. Calling them out turns the site into personal bickering matches and makes the site unreadable. Please knock it off.

When we were looking for a coach, before Lavin was hired. Hewitt was a leading candidate. He ultimately rejected our offer, but the real hero at the time was Mrs. Hewitt who was responsible for him saying no. I think each year on the anniversary of his rejection of our program, we should send flowers to Mrs. Hewitt.

Wow! Shouldn't be surprised by this given his record, but this one unexpectedly rocked my boat. Fordham's become a sinkhole for coaches.
