@ESPNAndyKatz: Not surprised Gregg Marshall decided to stay at Wichita State. He loves it there and can get to the tournament every year out of Valley.
 
Great misquote/momentary brain scratcher...
Bob and Tom this morning says Shaka to sign with Texas by Friday. Then says he was in the running for the job with Chris Mullin....corrected himself but threw me for a loop for a second.

I guess he's holding out for UNC. Not sure what happened with Texas, but I actually thought he would have taken that job. Maybe he's also hoping Cal leaves soon?

Not sure I've ever seen actual confirmation of their involvement, but the Koch brothers are based there and supposedly fund the program, so while people are shocked when they see WSU throwing that type of money around, they shouldn't be when there are two billionaire funders in the mix.

But I love Marshall, so glad he realized the perfect job right now is the one he already has.

With that kind of money you can buy a lot of land in Kansas, a lot of flat, sparse land stretching all the way to the horizon and beyond.
