Why not us? I posted his overall coaching stats in the "Next Coach" thread, and they are quite impressive. I don't know anything else about him. Good x-o guy? Good personality? Could we even afford him?

Why not us? I posted his overall coaching stats in the "Next Coach" thread, and they are quite impressive. I don't know anything else about him. Good x-o guy? Good personality? Could we even afford him?

Doubt we could compete with the Vols & don't see him on our radar. He & Fran F are very tight from PC days btw.

With his overall record of 604-314 In 28 years of coaching, maybe he should be on our radar.

But I don't know if he would be even interested in coming back east or if we could even afford him. Especially with TN now in the mix.

Howland and Bobby Hurley were DePaul dreams. They were not based on reality. Those two have a large pool of schools to choose from. DePaul is a career ender (well maybe not for Leitao).

Actually had a pretty good record at DePaul the first time. 58-34 over 3 seasons, including an NCAA tournament win. That's better then DePaul's done since. He did flame out at Virginia, though.

I can't imagine the DePaul fan base clamoring to bring this guy back.
