I recently read two interesting tidbits about Fordham:

1. Max salary they were going to offer was 500K. Certainly limits the candidate pool

2. They may be thinking about leaving the A 10 to go back to the Patriot League
 
I don't know...he comes off three straight 20+ winning seasons (25,24)...was in the NCAA last year after winning the Ohio Valley Conference championship tournament. Ten years at Eastern Kentucky with close to 190 wins. Looks like he could be an upgrade from Pecora.

I don't know squat about Fordham search, but doubt new coach would take job, knowing they intended to leave A10 or the AD would not be frank.

Personal friend of mine -- went to college together. Great guy and an excellent coach. Terrific hire for Mason.

Excellent news. Hopefulyl next years schedule is travel friendly so I can knock off a bucket list item and go to Butler for a road trip with the new Mullin team

I think this is the job he bites on. If he really wants Duke or Carolina or Wisconsin, might as well bide his time at a school with a legit chance at a national championship. His system with a bunch of top 50 players will be nasty.
 
Looks like there is a decent chance of:

Shaka Smart to Texas and Greg Marshall to Alabama

The SEC would get much tougher with the addition of Smart and Marshall to go along with Pearl this past year
