Coaching Carousel

Sounds like Bruce Weber will be out at Kansas St.

And there is some chatter about Brad Brownell at Clemson but I think he is safe for another year.

Crean suffered the difficulties of Coaching BB at a Football School . Ditto Brownwell at Clemson.  Weber at Kansas State is tough to recruit against Kansas .   These are Coaches who have been successful elsewhere .   Crean also had to deal with the fans at IU who think they still should win the Big 10 and NCAA every year . Miller suffered the same fate there too .  Crean did a good job at Marquette .

All the most important people love him there. He's like CMA -- good family man, good person. Not sure he lasts another two years with same results, but he might be safe next year too. Eventually they will need to part ways if things don't pick up though.

David Cox out at Rhode Island.

Wonder if Hurley finds a spot for him at UCONN especially if Kimani gets the UMASS job.

BTW-Seems like Jared Grasso would be a great fit at URI.
And it's only about a 30-mile distance. If he already lives between the two, he won't even have to go house hunting.

Yeah the entire state is barely 30 miles long and wide.

But yeah geography is one of the main things that makes sense.

Maybe Grasso could take Peter Kiss with him for his 7th collegiate season.
Kiss, the Eddie Haskell of college hoops

They are playing tonight at 7 against SMU.  But they have a decision to make.  Frank Haith is going into the last year of his current deal at Tulsa.  And so they know they cannot allow him to be a lame duck.  Which is why there is a lot of speculation about his job status.

Has the Tulsa job opened up yet as rumored?
