It's kind of funny but I guess since STJ hasn't lost a coach to a big time program since Louie left for the Nets, I guess some fans don't understand that while it can be disappointing it must mean your team has achieved a pretty high level of success. Lifer coaches outside the top dozen programs are very rare today anyway. There's always a new challenge with better money until you get to the top of the market, and St Johns is never going to be the top of the market. That's just being realistic.Do you think that’s exclusive to only Miller and Matta? Those schools lose successful coaches to big time programs, doesn’t matter if it’s these two (who I’d actually argue have a better chance of sticking around) or two less proven coaches. Worrying about too much success seems like a great problem to me.
