La Salle has parted ways with coach Ashley Howard

Matt Langel will be firmly in mix, source told @Stadium. Played and coached at Penn, has done an incredible job at Colgate — arguably toughest job in Patriot League.

I think williard can really coach but so could Mark Turgeon. Assuming he doesn’t light the world on fire at MD, I’d bet a few years from now we hear his name on coaching lists for potential St. John’s openings. Of course, hopefully we don’t need a coach.
 
All I know is our SHU friends should be careful what they wish for.  I know he probably had to cut a few corners a few years ago to stay afloat but that is not an easy job, the money is not great and he was able to turn them into a regular NCAA team.  

People think Holloway is going to come in and surpass that should pump the breaks a little bit.

But clearly Willard has never felt the appreciation from the fan base.  And I heard it when I was at the BET on Thursday.  Just the stuff hurled at him is extraordinary.  They think they are Kentucky.

This... man.... I am firmly in the camp of CMA should not have been fired after this past season.... BUT... can't help but be a tiny bit jealous of how this looks to be working out for  The Hall.

I would be shocked if Cooley's name wasn't on the list of some Power conf teams... but with those openings being filled... looks like he'll be staying. After Prov beats Kansas this week and makes it way to the Final 4... there will be no hotter coach in America.

Yeah but seriously, the thought of Pitino going to the Hall has definitely crossed my mind.  Now I usually don't worry about what coach winds up where except for here, that would absolutely worry me (alright, downright scare me).
 
Thought Holloway might have a shot after beating Kentucky and then McMahon head to head. Also thought maybe Cooley for one of the bigger jobs. Does South Carolina open their wallet for him after being spurned twice.

Was definitely mentioned as a candidate before the tourney. Would have been an awful choice.
