I would not sell my tickets to an opposing fan. Ever. Purchasing tickets is not an investment. I didn't buy my season tickets with the goal of seeing how much I could get for them for a future big game. I really don't see how you can be a supporter of the team and the program and then turn around and sell your tickets to an opposing fan. Just MHO.
Tony you talking about to this game, or to any game regardless of the circumstance? In other words, if hypothetically we were 0-17 right now and 30 pt dogs Sunday and some Duke fan was offering you 1K per ticket so he could see K get his 1,000 W, you would still not sell?
Monte, that would be most enticing. But no, I would never sell my tickets knowingly to an opponent's fans. I've never stopped rooting for this team, from the Louie glory years, to the Norm down years. So even if we were 0-17 right now and 30 point dogs, I'd still go to the game and root for our guys, even if I was the only St. John's fan in the garden.
Now, of course, if I were desperate for money, either to pay the mortgage or for a life saving medical procedure that I couldn't afford otherwise, then yes, I would look to sell my tickets for that amount of money.
In the five years that I've had two season tickets, I've already given them away to people on this forum. And once, I had one extra ticket and gave it to a forum member, who sat next to me during a game. And all I asked for in return was a beer and a hot dog. I'm a cheap date!
You are a far better man and fan than me
Doubt it. But you're kind to say that. :cheer:
