Coach K #1000

Since some people are selling their tickets, I'm looking to buy 4 to Sunday's game. It would be much better keeping them in a Johnnies fans hands then Duke's. :)

I'll be there Sunday, but this is the first time in the Lavin-era when I wonot blame those who sell. I could never understand those fans who would sell their tickets to the Syracuse game at msg, but now I get it.

Our house is going to be packed with oppowing fans, and we're going to get crushed. Those of us who go Sunday are masochists .
This is just not going to be enjoyable. Thank goodness there's booze at msg.

I sold too early. Lost out on a few hundred dollars.

Damn you guys must be really hard up for cash! Crushed, masochists, or whatever one thing is for sure, you are a bunch of hard up pussies who should be banned from this site. I feel bad for our players who obviously have a bunch of Judas fans willing to sell their tickets for some extra shekels.
I would be ashamed to post here that I sold my tickets and Billthetruth, you are a liar! You sold your tickets you putz. Yeah, we are New York's team  We SUCK as fans and I am ashamed of some of you! I go to our games hoping we win even against the odds.

Are you saying that you wouldn't sell your tickets at any price?

I would sell my wife before I sold my tickets to the Duke game! A college kid unloading his tickets to buy extra beer and cigarettes is one thing but a fan of 40 years is just a loser in my book and trust me there are a few sociopathic losers on this "fan" site.

Sell wife before Duke tickets = pathetic statement

Hey dude enough is enough. You made your point behind your keyboard muscles, now stop throwing insults and give it a rest.

You are looking like the loser here.

If the shoe fits.....
BTW, all I need to know is who likes your statement to know who the "realfan"s are on this site and who are just ballbreakers. Bill, the truth.....hurts!.

You just dont give up. You started this whole thing by using insulting words. Go back and check the message log. I see no more reason to have a discussion with you anymore. You dont know me personally yet you make blanket statements about me that are so far from truth about who i am and my loyalty to St. John's none of which i need to prove to you. Luckily i have come to know a lot of great guys from this site that one keyboard bully doesnt spoil my time here.

If I recall you are one of the "loyal fans" who posted how much you made from selling to a Duke fan. If you come on here and brag about that, then you deserve any insulting words you get! When some loyal fans are urging the chicken shits to show up and protect OUR HOUSE you come on here advertising the going rate to surrender our house to the opposition  You can't make this shit up and if it were a Kentucky board you would be tarred and feathered over the Internet and then accidentally banned from posting. As for joking about my wife, she has not missed a game in years and as a vociferous SJ alum, would sell me before she missed the Duke game. Being a loyal SJ fan is not for the faint of heart. You and real fan may consider yourself fans but you are not real fans from your discourse and that is all I go by.......at least we know Rick Smith Baldi is just a fun loving troll.
I will be there with my 3 daughters, even though they are pretty young because I think this is an event they should not miss.

Personally, unless you are a Duke fan, this will be a very forgettable event. The Rat winning his 1000th have no special significance to me. The game I really would like to be at is when D'Angelo's brother shows up for the first time and if identified, gets a huge, warm welcoming by our fans. Throw in a game winning shot by Harrison, and that would be icing on the cake.

Agreed about game meaning nothing as far as ratface goes. Never liked him, never will. I've got a few significant games which I attended in my memory bank, the most famous of which was the Championship game at the Superdome when Chris Webber called the infamous TO which Mich didn't have.

hey leave Theo Rabinowitz alone :) He's still basking in his glory of Boomer talking about him and his OAR music obsession yesterday on the radio likening him to a grateful dead fan who travels around to every show. Theo is big time now. I heard it with my own ears

I invited Theo to be my guest at the Butler game. Several fans posted on Twitter asking "who's that guy sitting with Theo in the second row at CA"

I love hanging with the royalty!

Theo runs in big circles now. Hopefully he won't forget all the redmen.com guys along the way :)

After watching the Louisville game, I realize Okafor is a major match-up problem (for almost any team). At 6'10", he has an impressive combination of strength and agility......especially for a 19 year old.

He is obviously an NBA player. If we can keep him under control, we just may have a chance. I just don't want to see a blow out.

I'll be at this game..feels like a coronation of sorts but that will only make it sweeter if we win

Expect Duke to play zone against us, especially since the success they had with Louisville. Coach K knew L'ville had poor three point shooters. What do you think - man or zone?

90% zone

L'vill, St Johns, Marquette similar teams in a lot of ways.

Overall: LV>StJohns>Marquette

St Johns statistically superior to duke defensively. I would not say Duke is turnover prone, but I would say they are susceptible. That could fly but also where the refs could decide the game.
If we can hit against the zone and hold them under 70 we have a shot. Foul trouble for CO or Dom and is the obvious issue but beyond that the key to game is Jordan not forcing and not turning ball over.

All I want is a good game out of our guys. The odds of winning are slim but Fox and every media outlet is publicizing this game and as a result, the St.John's name is out there like we will never see nationally in some time to come. Win or lose, this is free publicity for the university.

Dlo needs to channel his inner Schilling. (Man, I hate that guy!)

Ok. Good. I would imagine there aren't many Theo's at our games, but good to know. In any case, you're a great fan, and that's all that matters.

Don't assume. My name is Theo, my son as well & his son & we attend every game. So please desist.:)
