Coach K #1000

Why Harrison must play:

You play every game to win. Should we win, even if we went 9-9 in conference, beating Duke as a signature win would boost our at large chances immeasurably. Odds of winning without Harrison: Just about Nil. With him, ????

hey leave Theo Rabinowitz alone :) He's still basking in his glory of Boomer talking about him and his OAR music obsession yesterday on the radio likening him to a grateful dead fan who travels around to every show. Theo is big time now. I heard it with my own ears

I invited Theo to be my guest at the Butler game. Several fans posted on Twitter asking "who's that guy sitting with Theo in the second row at CA"

I love hanging with the royalty!

Theo runs in big circles now. Hopefully he won't forget all the redmen.com guys along the way :)

HAHAHAHAHA. And Beast, I don't wear a Rutgers cap or a jacket with my name on it.

Ok. Good. I would imagine there aren't many Theo's at our games, but good to know. In any case, you're a great fan, and that's all that matters.

Don't assume. My name is Theo, my son as well & his son & we attend every game. So please desist.:)

Part of the law firm Rabinowitz, Rabinowitz and Rabinowitz, no doubt

No, Savalas Exporting my friend.

Had a feeling that somehow Coach K would be looking for win #1000 against our Redmen in MSG. The basketball gods just wouldn't have it any other way. With the blowout loss tonight by Puke, if they could squeeze by Louisville on the road and not blow it at home against Pitt, they will be going for #1000 in the World's most famous arena. Duke fans would pay anything for the tix then I assume. Would be nice to get the win and make Coach K wait longer.

This thread should be deleted or changed to Coach K #309

Depends on whether he is healthy or not. He was certainly not 100% last night and I would hate to see the injury get any worse by playing him against Duke.

But you can pretty much guarantee he will be the first one to say he is ready to go, that is the kind of player he is, much to his credit.

I think I might be willing to sell my soul to the Devil to prevent win 1000 on our home court

I don't think there's any chance he sits. This is his and the rest of our seniors' best chance for a true signature win that has alluded them. A rather average Miami team beat this group so they are hardly invincible. They are a very bad matchup for us but so was Gonzaga. We had a shot in that one in front of a half empty arena on a night when we didn't play our best ball. Hopefully Harrison is close to 100% and we finally bring our A game. We are definitely overdue!!

Does that including drinking on Sunday? I could make the case that a few (5-6) Bronx Pale Ales when one is on medication for the flu could be misconstrued as "selling one's soul to the (blue) devil)???

Would you be willing to wear Prada? If not, then sneezing into the Duke breakfast buffet may help on Saturday morning depending on the incubation period of your virus strain.

Haaa. Definitely no drinks for me. I have a slight improvment today from the other day ( basically my temperature has stayed under 100 ) but I still feel like hell but I did make it to work today albeit I'm only staying for a few hours.

The funny part of this whole thing is when I went to the DR the other day and gave them all my symptoms they were questioning me to see if I traveled to western africa or have been in contact with anyone from there recently. And then they made me sign some ebola form stating that I hadnt:)

This could only mean one thing..Chris Obekpa or Felix Balamou or both will have a virus on Sunday to prevent them from being 100 %.

My sentiments exactly. You sit D'Lo,unless he's completely useless, you,ve raised the white flag. I feel a Willis Reed moment coming, although with many more than 2 baskets.

Did you ever walk away from a schoolyard game because it felt like you had no chance to win? Ever stop playing because you were hurt? Me either. Go D'Angelo - rooting for the signature win in his career - to date.

Nope, never. Neither would D'Lo if he didn't play. I wouldn't be able to live with myself. Was literally knocked unconscious in a pick up game about 5 years ago. Sat out a couple of games then got back on the court. Not saying it was a smart thing to do, but never said I was to smart :). Xavier-Regis tripleheader today! I'll be there.

for the record, my son and I were at a SJU game together a couple of years ago. When the Dance team was performing three kids from Regis started snapping cell phone pictures of them. My son caught it, elbowed me and gestured my glance towards the kids. Go Xavier.
