Notre Dame and Virginia will also beat them. Coach K will get his 1000th win against Georgia Tech. OUR key to the game will be getting Okafor accidentally poked in the eye by JDR.

I am trying to stay positive! Let them play zone! D'lo, Green and surprise sub Myles Stewart will rain 3s, we will run like bats out of hell and Amar will defend Jefferson and foul him out. It will be a sea of red and all will be well.

Usually love your posts & candor, but was it two for one heroin night in your area tonight?
There are times to speak with candor and times to be Cantinflas. We are not going to win the national championship this year so I am lowering my expectations with preposterous hopes that lighting will strike and hit our opponents and not us, that players like Billy Garrett see a naked Betty White every time they eye the basket and ADR is ruled eligible and returns to be our Bob Lanier.
PS, it was a Brooklyn Lager Sunday. More than usual after the loss. :blink:

Students dumping their $99 season game tix for Duke already. 21 tickets on stubhub right now behind the basket on one side, starting at about $200 per ticket. SJU is working on ways to prevent this in future.
It makes me physically sick to my stomach that Harrison is going to come out for the biggest game of his senior season and realize it is a road game

Jack I truly admire your passion for this team, how you express yourself(although I would stop short of advocating destruction of property lol) and how you sink or swim with them. You are much like I was 30+ years ago and to a slightly lesser degree still am today. Yeah there are far more important things in life, but one of the great things about being a sports fan is that it allows you to compartmentalize while a game is going on and oftentimes afterwards, and ride the highs and lows of the team(s) that you're passionate about. Take it from me, properly channeled passion will serve you well in life.

Cheering for SJU isn't easy. I couldn't even read the message board yesterday because I knew how negative it would be. As a Mets and SJU fan, I accept that fact that most years we are going to suck and we'll never be able to compete consistently with the blue bloods of those leagues, but I have learned to embrace the good seasons--as scarce as they may be--and get joy from them. That is why I try my hardest to be positive about this season. A good season is so much more meaningful to Mets fans than a Yankees fan.
