Butler, Tue., Jan. 2, 8:30p, FS-1

Yes those posters who lamented losing posh for Daniss saw what was obvious to most. Posh is one dimensional. Some worried about Daniss bringing the ball up against PoshšŸ˜ŽšŸ˜Ž. Seriously delusional. Daniss was outstanding. Posh did not play once his team fell behind.
They have nearly identical offensive statsšŸ˜‚

Posh 44% from the field 21% from 3 with 10.7 pts 5.2 assists 4.5 rebounds

Jenkins 39% from field 24% from 3 with 12.1 pts 5.9 assists 4.2 rebounds

He is settling into a smaller role with Luis playing. 20 mpg with 8-10 shots suits him far better than what he was trying to be earlier in the season.
He was filling a role because Luis was not there! Without him trying to fill that role we would have three more losses. Maybe more. Big picture guys.

I am hearing Pitino is reconsidering his stance on carnesseca. It is too much of an advantage to just ignore. He is realizing this.
During the pre interview with minko, he said he couldnā€™t fit his ass in the 2nd rows bleachers and the building hasnā€™t changed like the program. Hopefully renovations will happen in the future šŸ˜Š

Whoa?! Why did Fox put a slideshow together of posh in an SJU uniform? I was told that was a big no no
That was Foxā€™s choice.so glad we didnā€™t because I think it is dumb when the pros do it (the Nets for KD is an example) and would have been the same here. He is not a legend or all time great. We get visits from other players who had better careers and actually finished their career here and rarely do it for them so why should we do it for someone who not only left but went to a conference rival? Save the applauds for someone like the active Army Officer who graduated from St. Johnā€˜s and was honored during the timeout. Him I applauded.

Posh got a nice round of applause when he was introduced, that was more than enough recognition. In the second half he was booed every time he touched the ball.

Like Ghostzapper, I just got back. It was a fun game considering Jenkins/Posh match-up; Chris playing on a bad leg, the imitation of Brady as Jerry West (#44), Luis' acrobatics-some incredible moves that when he gets it all together is going to be a delight, Joel being Joel, Thad Motta going bat-shit and a big win for the team. Also nice out fits on the dance team.

Coach must have seen something in Brady in practice to bring him in early and up his production. I thought he uped his commitment on defense. He caused Butler to misplay and inbound pass that Jenkins stole and slammed home a basket on the break.
As one of announcers said, even when Brady misses it looks like itā€™s going in. It has been that way all year. Kid is a stud. He caught up on defense. Wilcher however still looks lost and slow.

He's already scheduled UCONN to play there next year. It will be great to keep those PUKON fans out of the game.

The Posh posters took a death blow today. No more about him. Our pg is much better. End of story.
Your anti posh argument all along was that you cant win with players that canā€™t shoot from 3.

Funny because we won tonight with our guards shooting a collective 2-10 from 3. Daniss Jenkins, your new hero, was 1-5 from 3. Also funny that butler somehow has the most potent offense in the Big East statistically, despite having Posh Alexander in their starting lineup.

Also I wonā€™t speak for anyone else, but MY argument from the beginning of Pitinos tenure, was that Posh couldā€™ve helped the team a lot this year.

His role wouldā€™ve been reduced yes, and in the end I donā€™t think he could deal with that, but you canā€™t convince me that Posh wouldnā€™t carve out room for himself in our rotation.

Hell Iā€™d go as far to say heā€™d probably be ahead of dingle and Wilcher in the rotation based on what Iā€™m seeing from those guys

But whatā€™s done is done, time to move on with the guys that are here.

Wish posh all the best
