Embarrassing! Ponds is starting to look more like Ahmed on his drives and lack of finishing. Same old pitiful three point defense. Clark didn't exactly help today. You would think by now that Ahmed would pull up on a drive and pop a short jumper instead of plowing into the defense. Oh well, hopefully we recover at home against Xavier.

If by recover you mean from having one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel than yeah maybe there is a chance to recover to lying on our death bed.
 
The team stinks and the entire program is garbage. Come up with all the reasons and excuses you want but none of it changes that fact. Oh and they aren't playing hard either. They aren't improving in any way shape or form they are getting worse and getting worse rapidly. I eagerly await to see what 5 or 6 guys bolt this coming offseason
 
This season has to be the most disappointing ever

Just want consistency. I got hooked in the 80's attending g games with packed arenas all the time. Wanted my kids to experience the same. They've had moments over the years

Beating Pittsburgh at the garden in lavins early years was incredible
 
The program is the worst it’s ever been for me. We are all fans here but our love for Mullin as a player may be blinding us to the fact that he is not the answer. The excuses are getting old. We are last in the conference. We are our record. We fired a decent coach in Lavin for this garbage product? Lavin had us relevant again and Mullin gets an F for not being able to build on that momentum. Bash me all you want for this post.

the hotel instead !
 
Playing hard only goes so far. I am 40 yrs old & can grab 7 of my buddies to play hard, but we would lose every game. The talent & coaches isn’t existent & that is on AD & coaches. Spend the money the right way. We can find it

Maybe we can transfer him to the swimming program as head coach. Um, no wait that could be dangerous. His players could actually drown.
 
I wasn't a fan in 84 and I got knocked by one poster here when I went nuts when he didnt coach and sat and the scorers table and I brought up the name then and then was told I was wrong but I wild it again now. Clyde Drexler

That being said Mullin should get next year and If he doesn't make changes on his staff or guys leave then fire him after next year but he deserves next year

Only thing I would bash you for is for thinking we are too blind to see he is not the answer. Most of us do. Only way I think he has a chance to make it work would be an almost total shake up of his staff and he remains as a figure head head coach. He should already have done this so I won't give him too much credit if he finally does. You can't keep doing the same thing over and over if it is not working and his record says it's not working.

For me, this is almost as bad as the way we lost if he was supposed to be there. For $2 million a year at a school like St. John's you have to show up to these things.

Needed to clear his head so he could dazzle the alums with his in game coaching abilities.

He'll get next year, but he sure as hell doesn't deserve it. Frankly, I think we're about to go 0-18 in the conference. I don't see any wins the remaining of the way.

How can someone who finishes 0-18 in their 3rd year deserves another season? Sorry, maher.

If anyone doesn't believe about potential roster fallout after a disastrous season, then you're fooling yourselves. I hope Ponds sticks around, but it seems like he's already checked out.

Not sure if I actually wrote Drexler's name when Mullin rumors surfaced, but I sure feared it. But then I got caught up in all the excitement around here and it felt like the right move. But it feels very Drexler-ish right now. It just sucks because we seriously should have had a top-five backcourt and scared some big teams in the tournament.

The whole thing with Maven claiming Matt A. was the source of the recent article is just another kick in the balls.

I just don't know where we go from here if Mullin isn't the answer. Dan Hurley? He usually takes a little while to get going, and I fear our fans would want his head after a season and a half.

I'm ready for Richmond to go. I like the idea of St. Jean, but he should probably do his internship at a different level. Get rid of Matt too if he can't keep his trap shut, although that could be disastrous for the recruiting class. He seems to like submarining co-workers.

Dont worry about me MJ I totally hear you. The only difference with me you and some of the other guys is you dont complain every 5 minutes about the situation and you know I'm not happy right not either just we have slightly difffert opinions but I dont blame you for how you feel
 
Damn, everyone should be fired and start new. CLARK, 26 MINS and 3 pt,Ponds even better 30 mins 2 pts PLEASE coach do not give us the usual after game wisdom we heard it all for 21/2 yrs now and frankly we can do without it
