Yeah the hat is key plus I need to remember to wear the sneakers. I think that might also be part of the karma because at the Duke game I also forgot to wear them and wore timberlands

Agreed, these are difficult match-ups. I just think Roosevelt Jones is the guy to take away. He is like their Sir' Dom......but not quite as good.

Sir Dom has to guard Chrabasz, just scored 30 points. CO takes Woods. Figure Jordan on Dunham, Greene on Barlow and Harrison on Jones. Hopefully D'LO is fully recovered because Roosevelt Jones can burn us. We have to box out and cut their offensive and defensive boards. Pointer's matchup is the key IMHO. We have to believe Lavin will not go to a zone anytime in this game.

Pointer guards Chrabasz because of his height not due to his recent scoring. Can't put D'LO on a big man who hangs inside the post.

You got to get back on your game. Also, I noticed Alfredo wearing the islander hat during the Duke melt down. Think that was another factor?
 
A great opportunity for a quality win. DLO is getting back to normal and Sheed played great at Providence.
 
We need a good old fashion blow out. Please give me one game where I don't have to sweat through the last 8 minutes.

That said, whatever it is.........just get the win.
 
at times we looked dominant against Butler. Then at times we looked like they were napping. This team has looked their best when aggressively guarding the perimeter. We let Dunham back into the first game after keeping him in check and fell asleep on their shooters almost entirely and that was the key difference. Jones is one of those master of intangibles players that is a little too strong for a smaller guy and a little too fast for a bigger guy. He's not infallible though we just made him look that way. Take it to him and force him to play D and give up some fouls and wear him down. He was way too comfortable.

Balamou has disappeared but he's the type of player that could be helpful against a butler imo. Give him first half minutes aggressively guarding Jones and their shooters to spare the starting 5 some 1st half fouls and some end of game stamina. On offense have him running around like a wildman and make their defense work. AliB is giving some decent minutes and minus the ridiculous FT shooting so is JDR. Balamou is the other guy who needs to log more minutes supporting Dom to give us a little more depth and some fouls. I know crashing the O boards is anathema to Lavin but he's another guy that could add some value there...

Could we inquire the B.E to investigate that guy? In all seriousness.
