For this I got soaked--oy! CA was a snooze fest tonight; nothing like Saturday.
Well that’s one way to look at it but I see it more as a sincere warning of the potential poor play when it will count. To be honest, the lopsided score was primarily due to the fact that without Mitchell in the game for much of the second half, Zuby was able to score at will against no one. It’s so funny to watch the game, know we will win comfortably, go back and read the ambiguous doom and gloom that acts like we are down 50 to the worst team ever, and then someone posts a score update showing us up 20
Smith has mad hops
True, it was as I expected, hard to duplicate the atmosphere on Saturday. There reporting 4600 tonight, no way I'd say more like 2600For this I got soaked--oy! CA was a snooze fest tonight; nothing like Saturday.
Or one way to look at it is that statistically we are #13 and #14 on two of the most respected sites.Well that’s one way to look at it but I see it more as a sincere warning of the potential poor play when it will count. Win or lose this game there were several red flags that this team will not get away with against better competition. If the team played this way against a middling Big East team, they lose this game. If you are happy with lousy play that results in a big win against a team of that level then more power to ya.

We were projected to win this game 88-68. Our defense didn’t hold up but I honestly expected that with a high 3 point shooting variance. Our offense did more than enough to dominate and cover the spread but instead this board would rather spend 2 pages focusing on 1 of 3 Kadary turnovers, who admittedly and statistically was our only below average player who played over 10 minutes. But all I’m asking for is a little perspective.
This our best team since 1999 and I know a lot of us are hurt from the last 25 years (me I was 5 when we won our last NCAA tournament game so I truly have never seen them advance) and especially last year when we were left out of the dance, but come on people. Enjoy the ride and celebrate this team rather than acting like every turnover or missed 3 is a slight against you personally.
This team I believe has difficulty getting up for these type of games! They play up to their competition!Games like this happen.
#5 Kentucky is only up 38-36 at the half against (2-8) Colgate.
He's got to watch it with the fouls. Can we please start and play Smith 25+ minutes.
I don’t see the NBA in his future. RJ, Sim, Aaron, Maker, and even Brady have better chances IMO.Richmond knows the next step is the draft. I certainly don’t know for sure, but I expect him to step up to the plate when it matters most. He should know what’s at stake. It sucks, but such is the nature of the beast nowadays.
I missed most of the game unfortunately but gat dayum that dunk from Smith. I knew he could jump but that was something.
Kentucky was up for it though. They scored the first 17 points. After that, they probably took their foot off the gas (and I'm sure Pope started doing some subbing).Games like this happen.

Still, we’ve all seen a lot of college basketball over the years. Games like tonight are a dime a dozen every single year.Kentucky was up for it though. They scored the first 17 points. After that, they probably took their foot off the gas (and I'm sure Pope started doing some subbing).
