I used to think Lunardi had a good insight but I am starting to question it. In the last day we went from 3rd on the First four out to second on the next four out.... how did we drop without playing a game and none of the teams that jumped us playing any games either.

He also has Georgetown after that horrible loss still with a shot.

He has Gtown off the board.

That's not the latest one.

Moving SJU from the First Four Out to the Next Four Out has me thinking Lunardi is puffing on that magic dragon.

Going by that, we have a great chance to pass some teams today with a win:

Last 4 Byes:
Stanford - playing against Arizona State
Nebraska - probably playing Ohio State on Friday
Tennessee - probably playing Arkansas on Friday
Xavier - playing Marquette today

Last 4 In:
St. Joes - probably playing Dayton on Friday
Dayton - probably playing St. joe's on Friday (Fordham today)
BYU - season is done, one of top players out for season.
Arkansas - playing 13-19 South Carolina today, but Tennessee tomorrow

First 4 Out:
Cal - Playing Colorado today
Minnesota - Play Penn State today, if they win, face Wisconsin tomorrow
St. John's - vs Providence
Providence - vs. St. John's

I think a win today put its in. Unless u think big east only gets in 3 teams. A Xavier loss tonight wouldn't hurt either. If Xavier loses that's 3 straight to close the season.

Oh, and im also starting to be converted into thinking there is a anti-big east sentiment over at Espn.

Starting to think? They have been anti be since we moved to foxsports.

I think guy with a vendetta against us is jerry palm at CBS.

Gman - I deserve that. I guess I was trying be level-headed. But it's pretty clear. :)

What I don't get is why ESPN is promoting the hell out of the Big East 30 for 30 right now during the BET on FS1? Who is calling the shots there? They've been asleep at the wheel for a few years. They had a chokehold on the industry just a few years back. Terrible foresight.

I think they view it is how a success turns into a disaster, like the Islanders 30 for 30.

Don't worry, The end of the 30 for 30 will probably get into how the ACC is the resurrection of the old big east or something like that... :cheer:
