Parking is a nightmare around Barclays, but I just think we do a bad job doing events there. Was there last year with some friends who went to Cuse, for Temple game. I think the LI fan base doesn’t mind MSG because of Penn. I get that but, would rather play at Barclays over Carnesseca any day!

At some point you need an identity..

Can't have MSG, Barclay's, UBS (& Carnesecca( and expect to have a true home court w/ a rotating fan base willing to travel to some and not other arenas.

Totally agree about needing an identity and that identity is MSG.

During initial press conferences Rick already said he wants to play ALL BE games at the Garden. Add a few Top 25 Games (Alabama next season plus one more) for 12 games at MSG.

Two "cupcake" games (if on the schedule) at CA. Maybe play Hofstra at UBS. Don't see a need to play at Barclay's.

MSG is the key for recruits and media coverage.

Barclay's and UBS have no recruiting advantages. There are numerous arenas around the country better than these two.

Not sure I agree with that. They have played #13 ranked Colorado State which is a helluva lot higher ranked than anyone we have played, NC State & Richmond all solid teams. You could argue it's not as good as schedule we've played but it is definitely not a CMA schedule.

NC State is a conference game.

I went to a couple of concerts at Barclays and hate the place. As for CA, I'm right there with you. As I said to David Russell 2 days ago "I may never attend another game there in my life". Just way too uncomfortable for this old, banged-up body of mine.

this is crazy... Students can get cheaper ticks on Stubhub... cmon SJU- 5$ student tickets or sponsor them to go if you want any semblance of a turnout...

The athletic department bought 200 tickets to distribute to students, band, cheer and dance teams for free. There are multiple busses being provided for students and the $20 price is greatly reduced and the school subsidizing. Not everything needs to be pitchforks out...

Students actually can't get cheaper tickets on Stubhub. The event is expensive. I'd like if we played games here if it was just us and we ran the event. It's never been like that.

Also, we should blame Cuomo and the LIRR re-organization for the added inconvenience of going to the game. Otherwise Barclays would also be a transfer-free ride for most Long Islanders and some people in Queens as well.

you're right... cheapest on Stub is 25$ w/fees... Vivid however - cheaper than 20 lol

It's a four game event. At least it's neutral site and we probably will have the most fans. It is what it is and winning is all that matters. One thing to look out for is it will be pouring after the game so be prepared.

For what it's worth, Alumni and the R/W Club are pushing a gathering at McMahon's at 3 PM. Just a place to meet, nothing included. I may or not be there, have to check the time Noah's Ark is leaving based on the forecast. But I will be at the game for sure.
