Big East Tourney

My second favorite team won.

My second favorite team is whatever team us playing Yukon.

I'm not a Georgetown fan. I don't follow the team except when they play St John's. I  appreciate a Cinderella team and will root for the Hoyas to win the BET championship on Saturday. It would be a impressive accomplishment for Coach Ewing after only 4 seasons.

Creighton has the advantage. The Hoyas are fatigued after playing 3 games since Wednesday. Creighton has a much better season record. That would make a Cinderella win even sweeter for the Hoyas.

It should be an exciting matchup. Let's see which team wants it more.

I was a Knicks fan growing up, James Dolan has completely killed that, so there’s a part of me that always likes Ewing.

Saying that, Lets Go Creighton!

As a St Johns and Big East fan, I am rooting for Georgetown to win the Big East Championship. This is the only way the Conference will get 4 NCAA tourney bids.

I hope R.J. Cole will be ok. I hate seeing any player hit the floor that hard.

Reminded me of Rasheem Dunn's fall in St John's opening season game. He struggled after the concussion injury for over a month.

UConn loses. Happiness ensues.

As much as I hate Georgetown generally, it is hard not to like Patrick Ewing. Plus a strong Georgetown is good for the Big East. Creighton and UConn are already in the NCAA Tourney, so I'll be cheering for The Hoyas.

Seeing GTown , UConn , SH , Creighton in last night's games just amplifies the need for the true big man in the middle . And , they need be closer to 7' than 6''8 or 6'9 and bulky enough to handle the inside Rebounding , shot Blocking , etc .   UConn - Creighton was a very good game just because it was so competitive , coming down to the last shot . But , otherwise neither team played especially well . They both missed a lot of shots . Bouknight had a so so game and didn't dominate like many fans thought he would . Maybe still affected by the Cramping issue of the DePaul game .  Zegarowski was solid , not spectacular but , did enough down the stretch . He's a Junior I think and probably will be back but , who knows in this year of Transfer Free Agency ?     You have to hand it to Ewing . He got his team peaking at the right time and they have momentum .  Considering he lost McClung and Akingo GTown last year , he's done a excellent job in this Covid season . The kid Harris is going to be a handful for us and the other BE teams next year . He's gotten better as the season wore on ..  I think Creighton still has too much for the Hoyas but , we will see .. Still disappointed we didn't get it done vs Seton Hall . This Year's tourney was pretty wide open as results to date hsve Indicated .

No doubt St. John's needs a big man, but even without one if they just would have a couple more jump shots or made a couple more throws they win.    31 percent

Everyone runs down court after a miss . It's frustrating .

Anyone who says it's hard not to like Patrick Ewing did not live through 1981-85.

Georgetown was hated then, Ewing at the top of the list, and their smug fans thinking their high academic standards made them superior humans to lowly St. John students.
