Big East Tournament: SJU vs. Pitt Game Thread

Pointer with yet another miss. This is a Norm Roberts team with the amount of layups missed. I have never seen so many missed layups as I have from SJU over the past decade. It is flat out embarrassing. Not to mention GG airballing a layup. Turn out the lights, the party is over. We need Lavin back asap.  
 
 I just turn my head when GG touches the ball. He cannot play more than ten minutes a game next year. I'd rather start another guard. He's not a basketball player.
 
 They have gotten nothing out of anyone but Moe...lucky to be within 11 right now...hopefully D can start to get his shot going here at the end and make it a game...

God's Gift does not do one facet of basketball well at this level. I just watched a guard get an offensive rebound and god's gift just stands there.

GG is at best a Div 2 talent.

Why do you only mention GG in this thread?

Why not Pointer 4 points and 4 fouls?

Why not Greene 0 points, 1 assist, 3 fouls?

Agree.... Not true. He's not a guy who can log a ton of minutes and be counted on to consistently provide scoring and rebounding. But, he's certainly capable of playing on this level.
 
 we need 2 or 3 strarters in here next year. if i was garrett i'd spend a lot of time working on my fastball this summer
 
 We are going to lose this game because of poor days out of Greene and Harrison, when it comes down to it. Neither has had their shots fall, and neither has been facilitating the game particularly well.
 
Very scary times ahead for our program. Moe is going to leave. We aren't getting Sampson, and might lose out to Providence!  Other than Harrison we don't return much talent. I hope Steve has something up his sleeves. He is talking a big game, but I don't know where it is coming from.

Much gun-jumping, Upstate? Let's see what happens once the signing period and NBA draft deadline comes and goes.

You're right, you don't know where it is coming from. He, on the other hand, does. Also not sure how you can definitively state we are not getting Sampson and Moe is going to leave. Also things that you don't know.
