I've said it for a month now:. The losing became too ingrained in this group for them to ever have success.  The more close games we got in, the more our confidence went down in those situations.  These are good hardworking kids who play hard, but they obviously won't be back next year, and change for the sake of change will probably be a good thing.  Don't want to start completely over, but we can't come back with this core group.
This isn’t the NBA. You can’t cut players to flip a roster.

That was such a tough loss.  I thought when we blew the big lead we would lose by double digits but credit to our guys for not capitulating.  I hate to gripe about officiating but I saw very little go our way.  With so many fouls on Posh we were screwed,

Of course Nova has some Arcidiacono-type (Gillespie) who is a freaking thorn in our side...  Champ was unplayable at times, gave it his all tonight.

Jay Wright full of praise for us at the end - easy to be magnanimous when you escaped with a W.

Let's go full tilt at the NIT.  It sucks but it's post-season BB.

I could care less about the NIT!

Staff mismanaged game ending, Champ misses big shot, story of season. What could Anderson have done to change the outcome? How about instead of a champ outside shot, tell one player to drive and everyone else hit the glass….. that’s how Nova won.

there’s a reason they have lost every close conference game this year…. And it’s not the players. The ending was a microcosm of the season, poor end game coaching and our best player falling short.

Disappointed that we did not drive in either of our last 2 possessions.  Force the refs to make a call.  We were in double bonus also.  You rarely win jump shooting at the end of close games.

This is about as nonsensical a post as I've seen. CMA had team well prepared and we damn near beat a top 10 team with our best player able to clinch the win on a perfectly set up three pointer that he (not the coach) just missed. The we played great D and ball bounced to Nova. That is not coaching.

Anderson told Brandon Tierney that SJU will accept NIT bid and play so let put that speculation to rest

Once Nova went to a zone, we were finished. No half court offense the entire year. And don’t blame the refs. They let both teams play.

what a awful loss. Nauseating.

With all due respect, F the NIT. I’m ready for the Florida boys to join the team. Maybe they can get some clutch buckets when we need them.

We had no half court offense because we had no shooters. It’s Very simple

Please Champ was wide open, some of you are ridiculous in the criticisms.

Nonsensical and him goes hand in hand. He act as if he's an inbred.

So, the staff designs a play to get your best player a wide open shot…and they mismanaged the play? Look at it again. Do you know why he was wide open? Because Nova had clogged the lane expecting a Posh drive.
We all know that you want a coaching change. With this one, you just sound silly.

A win tonight would have taken some of the sting away from the season. Slater hit one bucket all night. Of course we wish Champ would have just played D on that shot, but things were really wild the last 6 seconds. Plus I don't feel like watching Nova's last possession ever again.

Staff set up a play to get Champ a wide open look and he choked. If you want to criticize CMA then criticize him for not leaving Posh in the game or not putting Pinzon in if he was going to take Posh out.

It’s not coaching when it’s an occasional occurrence but it has happened in every close game at the end. Just because a team is well prepared does not excuse poor end game management at all. Some may even suggest that with 44 seconds left, they could have had two possessions to one, although that’s questionable. Nova also played somewhat short handed with one sick player and another suffering from back cramps.

I guess you don’t have a good grasp of the game to call my post nonsensical. Perhaps you should attend a few coaching clinics before you condemn someone’s post.

Ironic that what got us the win was driving to the basket and dishing off for easy baskets, so the last 2 plays the lost track of what kept them in the game

Let him tell it, he's coached top flight grassroots teams for several years back in the day. Dude is a wack job.

Just a very tough loss, probably toughest of the year except maybe loss at UCONN, but stakes were higher here. Oh well, I guess the sun will come up tomorrow and I'll still be a Johnnies fan which is a mixed blessing at best!

Insane anyone here would have a problem with a play drawn up for your best player to get a wide open 3.

Refs were atrocious and the lane violation was a death sentence. As soon as that happened I knew the game would be decided by that 1 point from an absolute bush league call.

While some of you whine as if you actually were invested in this team, these kids are still in the locker room after playing their asses off against the best team in the conference.   Really, you guys it should stfu go to bed, go back to shitting on your wives or kids if you have any, and stop criticizing kids who should have come away with the biggest win of their time here.  I feel for them, not for me, and certainly not for you.
