(BET @MSG-Game-2) Marquette, Thur. Mar. 14, 7pm, FS1 / 970AM

Anyone posting here obviously cares. The board is emotional cause everyone is upset. Everyone take a breather and maybe log off

He's cool.
No, I’m obviously a quitter.

Change my user name to quitter77
Thanks though Dink. Appreciate the shout. I can’t believe my fandom is being questioned because god forbid I had a few posts tonight bent out of pure frustration. Shocker, right?

How the hell am I supposed to feel positive right now?

Lol, don’t worry, start another thread. That’s so important.

Cue Kevin Bacon from Animal House “All is well.”
You came on here negative. I didn't make that up.

I know right? How can he be negative after a 32 point loss? SMH LOL

Yeah, most people expected more from this team, and they've underachieved. Based on the expectations, we have a right to be unnerved.

Not so much the disappointment about the loss, but the negativity was throughout the game. I too am disappointed with the outcome but ......

Quitter.

Go ahead and laugh at Zaun the peacekeeper (hah), but I appreciate both Knight's and Guinness' insights. Fans have a right to be frustrated but unfortunately I've been numb for weeks already or this would probably hit me more.

And it’s also a double whammy. Team underachieved this year and also just can’t show up in the big east tournament beyond maybe winning the Wednesday game. The tournament is in NYC for gods sake. Since realignment, with only 10 teams in, it’s a huge letdown that we have yet to get to the semifinal. Borderline pathetic

After a quick search. DePaul and St. John’s are the only teams in the conference to never appear in a BET semifinal since realignment.

That’s the company we keep

I was expecting a loss but not a complete annihilation. Like Jack said, very odd how the BET is on our home court in our home city and we cant go deep in it any year. You'd think it would happen by sheer luck at worst by now. If PC and SHU won, no reason we can't IMO. Deeply flawed team but crossing fingers for clinching a bye and somehow winning a few.

I can't even talk x's and os, adjustments etc. anymore. The bottom line is this team brings no heart, toughness, urgency and effort most nights. As soon as things get hard and they need to dig in they fold with maybe the exception of 1 or 2 games. Everything else doesn't matter. What makes it even more disturbing is we have a veteran team.

I think Cragg needs to consider some major changes and Mullin needs to take an honest look at the situation. If they can't agree we may as well just move on.

Also compare to them very closely in terms of conference record post Lavin. Won't pile on though I'm off to bed...want to go to gym at 5 AM before work and take it out there. If there's one positive it's that the DePaul bench doofus had his smile wiped off his face. Goodnight guys!

Could not make a shot in the half court offense. Therdore, we got no rhythm going except for small spurts in transition. Trimble is not the outside shooter to make us a major threat beyond the arc. This is suppose to be his strong suit on offense. Clark on the ball is an average defender his close-outs and defense footwork are well below average. The overall talent is not that strong to win at a high level with this group.
