Good news: That POS ref from the Depaul and Xavier home games, Nathan Farrell, is working Butler-PC, so we won't get him tonight.

What a p.o.s.

What beat writer makes prediction and who picks against the team they cover? The day the coach buries his brother. Wow.
I remember when Sonny was a Freshman and could play with the varsity
. Back then , Freshman could not play Varsity Ball but, I assume you mean Sonny could practice with the Varsity ? He led us to the NIT victory over Villanova in 1965. Joe Lapchick’s last game as Coach . Sonny was a great Player. All American in 1967 and I believe chosen 4 th in the NBA draft by the Pistons . He was 6’7” , maybe 6’8 and played Center . He might have weighed 210 pounds . Skinny but , could do it all . Sad , he got into drugs and lost his way after his pro career was over . Tragic end to his Life . But , a All Time Great Johnny .

“I would rather ponds take bad shots than the rest of the team take good shots” - intellectual Donnie Marshall, on what St. John’s needs to do.

That guy gets paid for his opinion.

Running late and won't get to my seat until about 5 minutes into the game. If we're down by ten, I might turn right around and go home.

Unreal. Hey, Donnie, we’ve seen that movie, and it’s not pretty. How about we move the ball around on offense and just play good basketball. Then Ponds and others will get all the shots they need.

Good start...crisp shots good intensity so far. Then again we started red hot last time too. Have to sustain the intensity.

Smart move by going to a sagging man defense. Take away anything on the blocks for DePaul. They're only tightening up on Strus for the most part.

Once anyone catches it on or near the blocks, then it looks as if we're going to quickly double. Good job at the moment.
