(BET) #4 Seton Hall, Thur., Mar. 14. 2:30p, FS-1

I don't know how we win this game, that I'll leave to all you analysts and Rick. All I know is we win this game, and we win this game most likely going away.

As long as the odds aren't ridiculous, I'm betting the house on SJU on the money line.
We are overdue to reach the semifinals. Since our last win in 2000, we are (0-11) in the quarterfinals. This includes 3 overtime losses and a 17 point 2nd half lead blown to Nova. Bet the house 😀 Trust the Pitino process.

Disclaimer: if you guys are foolish enough to listen to some guy who goes by the name Monte on some sports message board, and who most of you guys have never met and have no clue who he is, and you bet the house on SJU, then don't come crying to me if we lose, and you're homeless. I ain't about to put you up, that much I can tell you.

Except for Eric, since he's a really good dude and is doing me a huge solid this week. Plus if he loses his house, it won't be because he listened to me.

You are probably looking at somewhere between -150 and -200.

Essentially the first play in game, with a loss giving us a slim hope for Dayton.

Am rooting hard for a win, but the mere fact that we are in the position is amazing. Pitino as he should, would say, "We aren't here to look back at the last 5 game. We played those last 5 games to win this one."

I see us winning this game in a very close one. Reason being- its hard to beat a team 3 times in a row in a season when relatively equally matched. The first game we played below our ability, the second game they grinded us out and we let them take the game. This 3rd game we have to be motivated to play a full game and knock them out. Joel and all seniors have this one last shot, its games like these that you remember for life/career.

That being said-

If we lose, 60/40 we get in unless there are serious bid stealings in other conference tournament shockers.

If we win, we are definitely in.

If we lost and don't get in, we will be high seed in NIT which is not horrible considering we haven't sniffed post-season in years and the young guys can get the work in with some post-season experience.
