Basketball schedule

Ironically this is going to probably be our first game after coming back from South Carolina and the Charleston Classic.

If I am not mistaken the College of Charleston is part of the Charleston Classic; surprised South Carolina was not invited also.

Auburn is representing the SEC in that, although they came in at the last minute. South Carolina probably commited eleswhere. You can only play in the same tournament once every 4 years (even C of C will be making only it's 2nd appearance, in what will be the 5 year history of the tournament).

That rule cant be true for all tournaments. Chaminade in the Maui classic, even us in the holiday festival for example.

Holdiay Festival isn't same type of tourney. That rules is for any with more that 2 days.

As for Chaminade I'm guessing it's irrelevant since they aren't D1

Too bad they will have to come away with a loss that night :)

IMO, we should definitely win this game. He's lost two pretty decent players (Demontre Harris and Anthony Gill) and one of 'em (Bruce Ellington) will have recently finished playing football.

Even with those guys, South Carolina won only 2 of their last 17 games. Hopefully we give them the proper northern welcome that is coming to them...

What's the saying? "it's like bringing a Gamecock to a dog fight"?? ;)

Lavin just tweeted SJU will play San Francisco on Dec. 4. That finishes off the schedule.
At San Fran or Home ? That would be a nice road trip and side trip to napa or sonoma

 At San Fran.
then that's the 2nd mjmaherjr road trip of the season after charleston. Nice !! I've never been there and I can mix business with pleasure ( and wineries !! )

According to what I've read, we're definitely playing:

St Francis
3 Games in Charleston Classic
South Carolina (BE-SEC)
SF
UCLA
Duke

Who are the other non-conference opponents?

At San Fran. Steve tweeted he's looking forward to showing the team his home town.

I'm in The City By The Bay right now and would very much like to return later this year to see The Johnnies take on The Dons.

Didn't Lav's father play for USF ???
