Basketball schedule

I counted 13 games on national television. 11 of 18 conference games and im sure the majority of those 7 left will be on sny/msg. This isnt counting the Charleston classic which I believe gives us a chance for two more national televised games. Not bad

Yes .finally exposure

Are the Big East Network/ ESPN Regional games being televised by Directv? And if so will there be a charge similar to the ESPN Full Court games?

Generally they are shown as part of the ESPN Full Court TV package for a charge and ESPN3 online FOC I think. Not sure about DIrectTV.

It's been about 4 years since I've last had ESPN Full Court, and I've been able to see most, if not all of our games since that time.

If you order the DirecTV sports package, then you'll more than likely be able to view the majority of our games. SNY (have the rights to the Big East Network), MASN, MSG Network, and every now and again, one of the Fox Sports affiliates will televise our games.

I gave up on it too since I can see every Full Court game on my computer. Don't have the range of channels you do with FIOS, at least not in HD and I don't watch anything not in HD any more. Can't really see it.

The game at Barclay ctr is a home game but we dont get tickets? WTF is that?

I believe we are listed as the Home Team at a neutral site but it is not really a "home game". I know they have in the past included Holiday Festival Tickets in the Season Ticket package, but I guess this not being a regular venue or home venue for us, it was left out.

Bummer.

Some tickets went up a little. Stormsaver corner which is what we had last year went from 250 to 325.

Still a good deal for 16 games. Alfredo and I are going to have our usual 4 plus I'm going to get a couple of other friends to kick in money and get some extra seats near us.

Going to be a real fun season. Cant wait

Should be a fun season, I agree.
I've had that storm saver corner package too.... usually my seats at msg where in 200s, looks like now they are moving the "corners" into the corner 100 level. For me at least that probably means lower - albeit closer to the baseline- seats.

Barklel Center management should be smart & sell as many tkts as requested by each school as quickly as possible. Don't forget the other four schools in this triple header have pretty significant fan followings here.

Will be interesting which game will be considered the 'preliminary' with an earlier starting time.Didn't see the Post today so don't know if that info is available.

Was told weeks earlier when it was confirmed it wasnt in ticket packages that it would be the last game.

Well, irregardless of start time, the spotlight game of that tripleheader is Michigan-WVU. My guess is, that game is scheduled wherever it is because of national TV (I can't imagine that NOT being a national TV game), and then, the other 2 games were scheduled accordingly.

I mentioned this earlier on JJ, but actually I saw a billboard on the LIRR promoting the college basketball season at Barclays... and our game against St Francis isn't even being promoted as part of that Winter Hoops festival.

Obviously we're playing that day, but I wonder whether it's a separate admission at night, and not a part of the double header during the day?

The press release billed it as a triple header

Anyone invest in the VIP package at the Garden? I am not sure if it's still available. Is it worth it? Was going to call tomorrow.

All game times now updated:

We're the first game of the Holiday Festival doubleheader, which is strange (it is a night DH).

Also, we are the second game of the tripleheader at Barclay's (5 pm start for us).
